Thank you so much for showing Iran for what it truly is, a country of security, kind people, and rich culture. I am a Canadian raised by two Iranian immigrant parents, and I have visited Iran every single year since I was born. Iran is definitely a country everyone should visited and people shouldn't be bothered by the picture painted by the US government. I have done my fair share of traveling being only 20 years old and have been to many countries, I can honestly say I've been more scared at night in Paris while travelling than I had ever visiting Iran. This is not to say that Iran doesn't hold dangerous areas or that you won't run into any problems but it's important to understand that having your wits and being attentive travelling anywhere in the world you will be fine. I have had scarier moments in my own hometown in Toronto than in Tehran! Go visit Iran already its beautiful! it's no surprise that travellers like you are amongst the most humble and down to earth people. you see a lot of different nations and cultures and yet find out that all of them connects you as if it's a part of you as a human. you come across a lot of different languages but it doesn't act as an obstacle because the language of love and kindness and friendship is global and powerful and you don't feel lost in other countries. with seeing all of this you truly realize that we're all same we're all one family one nation. we're all human. those who travel most hate less. traveling is really a character building experience. and I think it's crucial for all people. love you from Iran

The gov't of iran is democratically elected, the U.S. has no right to decide the direction of a sovereign nation, only the people who live there do. The United States is becoming the most destabilizing force on Earth, period. The drive to control the natural resources of the rest of the oil producing world must be realized for what it is..an imperialistic grab for other nations natural wealth. Americans must understand the devestation and murder our govt commits in our names, and stop all foreign wars.

I visit iran almost every year to meet my family there.
Honestly, Iran is unlike other the tradition and its culture is so pleasing. As an teenage Iranian living in Australia i do sometime wish I lived there permanently.
Like Ali said in the video, Iran is 100% safe. In all my years of travelling to iran for the last 7 years i have not yet dealt with any dangers or safety issues.
The people of Iran are so friendly and respectful. As an Iranian visiting iran i am treated with so much respect. So there is no doubt that a tourist will be treated much better as you are considered their guests.
If you guys ever plan on visiting Iran please do so. It will be a time youll never forget.

Don’t forget to video your trip. As an Iranian raised outside of Iran for the past 40 years since I was a little kid I enjoy watching travelers vlog so much. I’ll go to Iran one day only to visit but after this brutal regime is gone for good by the people. I hope there won’t be any war cause that’s going to unite all of us to save the motherland. With every brutal government only native people should change. Any outside interference will create more disasters.

Don´t believe the media? I never read bad things about Iran in the Danish papers, I do read crap about what their government does abroad and it´s somewhat questionable oppression at home, Iran is however very much a "functioning" country in most aspects, can´t recall a bad article about Iranians in the papers here.
Actually most sad things I read in the papers are related to the US, obesity, universal healthcare shortage, poverty, crime/murder and whatnot ... and all the ridiculous lawsuits.

As and Iranian yes you're right it is only our government that fuels this hatred and wants to show that Iranians wants war with west, while only 10% of people are the people of the Iran government and 90% want free Iran and friendship with others. I say 90% because in the last election 70% voted for reformist and they had no other choices (this is how dictatorship of Iran works). if there was a secular choice they would vote for him or her. Just conservative shia muslim can have a important job in Iran. and between those 30% percent 20% are veeeery poor and brain washed by the Iran's government media. so 10% have the money, power, media, best countries passports, and etc. they live in the best countries and Iran is their ground for their game! it might be interesting to you all of the children of those 10% live in west and they are super rich while their fathers are mullas or mullas with suits and saying death to west!.

Incase a jackass would surely comment: Iranians have been muslims since along time ago, well guess what? Most of the progress they made throughout history was made by their non religious leaders who didnt follow islamic rules. just look at what they were 50 years ago and the empire they had and their culture before islam rape them.

Well. This video only showed BandarAbbas city and one of its islands, Hormoz. The culture of this city has a lot of similarities to Indian culture(cuisine, clothing, accent, warmness, music, weddings, and even looks!). Idk maybe that's because of its hot, warm, tropical weather or because of Indian migrants who came here to serve the British forces here. This city is very UNIQUE in Iran. I am from BandarAbbas and I admit what you say.

This was a truly wonderful video. The shop owner, Ali, seemed like such a nice and intelligent guy. What I take from all the videos I've seen where tourists have spent time in countries like Iran and Pakistan, is that at the end of the day, there's good people and there's bad people. That goes for every race on this planet. Clearly there's many more good people in these countries, such as Iran here, and the bad are just a minority. To all these good people in every country in the world, no matter what religion you follow, or if you don't follow any religion at all, I and many others wish you nothing but the best in your lives.
