This is the first freight elevator upload on my channel! Ever since I first rode this elevator during my first week of college, I have had a special connection to it. I love how smooth and quiet it is during travel, but then how loud the doors are when opening and closing, combined with the door closing chime. Before I first rode it, I had been on very few freight elevators. It seems to be either a full modernization or a full replacement, but I do not know anything about it previously. It seems like a rather fresh mod too, as the paint on the doors, gate, and walls is fresh, and it runs almost perfectly. It does shake sometimes when going up, particularly when it passes the 2nd floor. There is also a glitch that allows you to open and close the doors from outside of the elevator on a different floor. That means if the elevator is on the 2nd floor, you can open it with the door open button on the 4th floor. Other than that, it's a great elevator, and I will continue to ride it weekly as I progress through college.

The building I'm studying computer science in at my university this upcoming fall has a very fast Otis Gen2 lift :)

    This is hydraulic not traction!

Nope, it's traction. Even though it's slow, it's still traction. A hydraulic would have a loud motor going up, and would most likely not accelerate so gently. I could here the traction motor at the top.
