This is the freight elevator for the loading dock and basement of the Physical Sciences Complex. It is actually attached to the side of the Atlantic Building, directly to the right of the Atlantic Building freight car. It does not serve the main floors of the Physical Sciences Complex, and is not even attached. I would consider this part of the Atlantic Building, however, it's the loading dock for the PSC, and is kind of it's own building. This one is also REALLY LOUD! It's probably around 15-20 feet tall. It has solid inner doors, but for some reason, the door stop buttons do not stop the doors from opening. I think either M or B used to be unlocked, because I vaguely remember taking this thing down, however, that is not the case anymore. The rear G level is only about 6 steps up, so its not much of a ride, but its better than no ride. It's rare to find a standard company install, as most freights are generic installs.

That is an AWESOME freight elevator!
This might have a ITI or CEMCO hydraulic power unit
Oh No!!! This freight elevator is alarmed!!!!!
It’s just the door closing alarm.
It’s just the instant nudge mode.
Amazing E-flat pitched motor!
I’ve been in a freight elevator like that at the gould simpson building at the university of arizona
Wow this is big! The door timer’s way too short. Notice the windows don’t line-up.
I know, it’s weird.
I know, it’s weird.
How wound the elevator pump look this Otis hydraulic freight elevator ?
Otis dosent make these big pumps. They outsource to other company’s
Would it have the same Otis controller like The one submersible pump
@@zionelevatorfan3969 Most likely have the Otis controller mounted on the machine but the machine not being made by otis
Like would it have a 211 lvm controller
Good
They need to fix the two problems with it. These are the two problems:
1. The inside door is a bit too tall so the window on that door isn't lined up correctly with the outside doors
2. The door open timer is way too short. It needs to be open for like 90 seconds until a door close button is pushed
And they need to fix the door stop, because it doesn't work.
@@AdazElevatorz Yeah, but there's some other freight elevators out there with defective door stop buttons. Also, this elevator should have voice!
@@AdazElevatorz th-cam.com/video/bim48P4KFJ0/w-d-xo.html This one at Arlington Race Track in Arlington, IL seems to have this all correct. Do you think you will be able to film it?
Why am I watching elevator videos
You love elevators

Freight nudge mode
It's not really nudge mode because freights always do it.
Or should I say instant nudge mode
