Also, I just learned today as I edit this on 7/21/2019, these overly filmed elevators will be receiving their second modernization with Port! If you look at the new D.O.P, it appears to be getting the newest model. I have no clue when it started or when it will be done, but here's a link to Windy City Elevators' video: • IT’S OFFICIAL!!! They better not modernize these. These serve so many people already and according to an article I read about these elevators this Miconic 10 system really helps out with the crowds
It has been modernized with the PORT system back in 2019 now. The old M10 flashing indicators still remains, but it is no longer enabled even with the handicap mode. The cab and red digital indicator inside also remains the same, just works slightly differently (like the non-existent floor now shown as "--" instead of "XX").
