I would recommend this to anyone who likes both LEGO and the classic Mustang - I got it for my birthday and it's easily one of the most satisfying LEGO sets I've built!
@@reroyals4206 tough choice - I'd probably choose the Tantive IV as a purely display model, but the Mustang is way more recognisable on first glance to anyone who sees it!
Nice I got this set for my birthday too! I ordered it online and came with the online exclusive Bumper Sticker that says: “my other car is a Mustang”! In fact, the Ford Mustang came 2 days before my birthday! Nice.
I like Jangbricks he never rushes out his vids like other LEGO tubers infact hes usually last but his vids are so well made and chilled out, keep up the good work my soft spoken friend!
Unfortunately I have to agree. I wanted to love the db5 but I just couldn't after I saw it at the lego store. It just didn't have the beauty of the original.
Definitely the most accurate creator car LEGO have released, it was also about time their models had a steering system. Even sariel was blown away by it. LEGO certainly stepped up their game with this. Let’s hope the next creator car is as good as this
When do they tend to release these creator expert car/motorcycle sets? I've seen the harley that they released a couple of days ago, is it two times a year?
I'm a mustang fan. I'm a lego fan. I'm glad this video popped up in my feed, as I had no idea it was out there. Somebody at Lego must love Mustangs. This is their third, after a 2015 GT and a Green 68 fastback in the Speeders line (both of which sit proudly on my desk). I'll be adding this one soon enough.
Wait a minute.. you're Jang! The same Jang I used to watch videos on your SC10 when I was into RC as well! I was into Lego before RC and now I'm back at Lego particularly for this model. Always did a great job on your videos, and super detail oriented. You know your stuff talking about the distributor, plug wires, etc. Keep up the good work! subscribed.
At 15:09 there is a 1x1 circle tile with the mustang logo on it and it looks identical to the Calgary stampeders football team which is pretty cool. (Go stamps!)
My uncle let me build and keep this set when I was in the henry ford hospital in Detroit. Kept me pretty busy and the nurses kept complimenting it when I finished it
I just have little interest in cars but as a LEGO fan I have to admit that the Mustang GT is a really cool set and is designed very well. I also have nothing to complain about besides the fact that many pieces of the stripes of the first charges are badly printed. Nice to see that LEGO included a licence plate for my homecountry Germany, too. :)
Great review. Totally agree with your comments about the effort that went into the product detail. Amazing appearance and unbelievable that the LEGO designer accomplished all this!
Totally awesome! This is Lego at its best, I really love what has been done here for the Mustang, it looks sufficiently realistic and you can't help but say Wow out loud! The price is a bit forbidding, but the set itself is worth it I think. Awesome review, Jang!
I love Mustangs, I've only ever owned Mustangs. This is a really great set and I'll have to pick it up at some point! I love all the additional options they provide too.
Very sweet vehicle. I saw someone build it but I don't remember seeing the Michigan License plate options. Thanks for the close up views. The colors are well chosen for this muscle car.
They've done American. German, and British cars. Now it's time for a Japanese car. May I suggest the 1985 Toyota Supra Mk II. It's wedge shape would be perfect for Lego designers to work with. Whatever, I can't wait to see what comes next :)
Man now that Lego has an agreement with FCA they should do a classic Mopar car to this scale. If they did a 69 Charger it would sell faster then these would (probably) because everyone loves them or personally I'd want a Roadrunner Superbird or even a 'Cuda or a Challenger. If you went with more obscure cars a Coronet or a Dart would also be really cool too.
Wow really like this set, I love your Lego builds and reviews. There must be so much editing that goes in to your reviews, it must be hard to get all your thousand of reviews that you have done over 4 years completely right to have so many subscribers and so many followers that’s just crazy. I am 20 years old and have been a fan/massive collector of Lego ever since I was about 3 years old. I bought my first ever big Lego set when I was about 9 years old it was the Lego City 7945 Fire Station, I can remember buying it at Big W with my dad on sale. That’s so crazy to think that was about 11 years ago, and now I have got so much Lego it has taken over the whole house.. well not quite but got a whole room full of it just about. My favourite theme would have to be Lego City and my favourite sub-theme would have to be Lego Creator Expert. I have loved nearly all the Lego Creator Expert sets ever made including the Lego Creator Expert Ferris Wheel, the Lego Creator Expert Sydney Opera House, the Lego Creator Expert Modular Assembly Square, the Lego Creator Expert Rollercoaster etc. I have been wanting to make a TH-cam channel for a little while now but I have been a bit scared, my parents suggested I make a Lego TH-cam channel and I thought yeah that would be cool, I could do something like Jangbricks does aka you, and make videos of me building sets and reviewing them, that would be awesome, do you have any advice for starting a TH-cam channel. Also would love for you to review a couple of certain Lego sets including the Lego Creator Expert Vestas Wind Turbine, the Lego Creator Expert Taj Mahal and the the Lego Friends Heartlake City Resort. Keep doing what your doing, don’t work to hard you need time to your self and to enjoy life.
Same bro I'm 20 too and haven't stopped collecting Lego either. #nodarkage Go to Jang's website at www.jangbricks.com/2014/12/faq-how-do-i-make-videos-that-look.html#more for tips and tricks and a lot of stuff all about JANG
I had to have this the moment I learned about it, so I got it and the keychain. I haven't built it yet. I think the set is awesome. Great to find out that you like it too.
I have this set and it's great! I just found it surprising that there is a gray line visible just below the louvers, and also that small patch where the door closes. There is also a bit of dark grey color where the hood is attached. They could have used black parts, especially considering the price and the target buyers.
I've always loved older mustangs and VW vans, now that they're both in Lego form I'm probably going to have to get their sets so I can fantasize about driving them 😂
The oil filler cap printed piece isn't new, it's also the boot/trunk logo on the Speed Champion Ford Mustang Fastback (Lego 75884) ... which also left me with a spare one after closing the instruction booklet, so if you are looking for a cheaper supply of that piece, you might want to check out this sets smaller brother :)
Try and remove all the grey double cheese pieces on the bottom of the doors, ad some plates, a 1x4, a 1x12 and a 1x2, then flip the cheese pieces so the thick part is down and put them back, and now you should have side skirts. I don't know how what it will do to the doors and they might not be able to open after this. But you can try. :-)
Im thinking about getting this set. I kinda grew out of legos about 3 years ago. Im now 15 and restoring a red 1966 mustang that was my aunts car. She got into a car wreck when she was 16 and sadly didnt survive. So the car has a lot of sentimental value to both my mom and my grandparents. I would like to see LEGO possibly do a 1966 coupe mustang in red and see about getting a sticker that says AMANDA on the back. That was my aunts name.
Here's the speed build: th-cam.com/video/MZ2TrplhwiA/w-d-xo.html
JANGBRiCKS what’s up bro
So, uhhh... What happened to the Technic Bugatti Chiron? We all saw you have it during that one Shop at Home haul video.
Yee
What is your favorite car
This is an example of a great revue on a model that really deserves it. Thank you.
You've got to appreciate that smooth brickwork on the outsides, legitimately LEGO at its best!
Amen Bois
Indeed, best Lego creator expert car yet
Literally the doors fit flush with the body work
I'm not much of a car guy but this set is absolutely awesome!!!
I haven't bought any of the larger car models but this one looks great. It might help that it is an old muscle car.
I don't need it.
I don't need it.
I deffenianly don't need it.
*I NEED IT!!*
Yea
Same
I'm already bought it.
Definitely*
*MY GRANDMA GOT IT FOR ME*
A true masterpiece of a set
Indeed
10:34 *Spoiler warning*
I see what you did there.
So did i
Rice Rice
I would recommend this to anyone who likes both LEGO and the classic Mustang - I got it for my birthday and it's easily one of the most satisfying LEGO sets I've built!
Ieuan Richards Got it for my birthday too!
Very cool! Happy Birthday. Looking forward to building it myself. It's still sitting all boxed up.
Do i go for this or the UCS tantive 4 coming in may?
@@reroyals4206 tough choice - I'd probably choose the Tantive IV as a purely display model, but the Mustang is way more recognisable on first glance to anyone who sees it!

A bit unrelated to the review, but you should do a “top 10 favourite LEGO sets of 2019” at the end of the year. I would love to watch that!
They went above and beyond on this one!
TOP set! I had to review it first on TH-cam 👍👍👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿
GNAJBRicKS!!!
GNAJBRicKS Gnaj on a Jang video? What are you’re thoughts on Jangs channel? (I saw you’re review on this)
GNAJ. NO. THIS IS NOT YOUR HOME. GET! GET! Lol
Gnaj has escaped
I can't believe Jang pointed out the tan interior but you didn't.
I went from not caring about this set at all to legit wanting to get it! We appreciate your work JANG!
This like the Saturn V rocket is going to be a longterm investment set. Brilliantly depicted and executed by the designer and well worth owning.
Hmm, yeah, you might be right! Do you think it's worth thinking about getting a couple to sell in five or ten years?
It may be retired by then
This masterfully created creation is without a doubt one of the greatest LEGO creations ever created.
Much better than the Aston Martin
TheHaunted Hamster for sure!!
I don't think that was a bad one, but do agree this is better.
that one had a lot of gadgets though...still love it.
Yes
Unfortunately I have to agree. I wanted to love the db5 but I just couldn't after I saw it at the lego store. It just didn't have the beauty of the original.
I would say this, the Harley and Mack are probably the best sets produced from LEGO in a long time. So marvelously done!
This is one of the best looking car models ever made by LEGO. Instantly recognizable.
Vw beetle too?
Definitely the most accurate creator car LEGO have released, it was also about time their models had a steering system. Even sariel was blown away by it. LEGO certainly stepped up their game with this. Let’s hope the next creator car is as good as this
When do they tend to release these creator expert car/motorcycle sets? I've seen the harley that they released a couple of days ago, is it two times a year?
It makes me very happy whenever a Mustang has a license plate with P51 on it.
This is going to get modded into an RC car reeeeeeaal quick!
Oh yeah, that would be cool!
Nah, it would start trying to mow down Minifigures if it were to be turned into an rc or motorized
People have already lol
Very cool - and the fact your parents had a '68 Ford must've made this even cooler for you, Jang.
That over sized supercharger just looks absolutley perfect on this beauty of a set!
I've never been into large scale models but this car is just fantastic. Easily the best set of its kind so far, bravo to the designer(s).

I'm a mopar guy but I still love this. Hoping that a 69 charger will be next

I am not really into cars, luckily I am into JangBricks reviews!!!!!
Australian number plate!?
MUST BUY.
Wow. Such a cool set! These Creator Expert cars keep getting better and better.
Only saw the thumbnail so far, but I am massively excited already.
I want that Car right now.
This car looks soooo good! It's much better than Aston IMO.
Awesome review! I have this set. Took me 4-5 hours to build
I'd rather spend time building that instead of 6 hours of school lol
At 15:09 there is a 1x1 circle tile with the mustang logo on it and it looks identical to the Calgary stampeders football team which is pretty cool. (Go stamps!)
12:31 the piano just adds up to my immersion. *this is very gud YAES*
My wife got this set and she loves it. It's her favorite set. She's looking at making a shadow box for it.
Robert Rustenbeck where did she get it
My uncle let me build and keep this set when I was in the henry ford hospital in Detroit. Kept me pretty busy and the nurses kept complimenting it when I finished it
The oil filler cap was not a new print, it was used on the speed champions mustang set
Mike Psiaki is one of my favorite designers. Love every one of his larger builds
I've been waiting for this 👌
Is this the most realistic car set Lego has ever produced? Star Wars and Space are more my things, but this has my interest!
I would say so, compared to everything else in the Creator line.
I just have little interest in cars but as a LEGO fan I have to admit that the Mustang GT is a really cool set and is designed very well. I also have nothing to complain about besides the fact that many pieces of the stripes of the first charges are badly printed. Great review. Totally agree with your comments about the effort that went into the product detail. Amazing appearance and unbelievable that the LEGO designer accomplished all this!
This set is so nice! I love the overall look and the insane amount of little details, like the rear view mirror and engine! Great review Jang!
This set is seriously tempting me. I normally go for the fantasy/sci-fi sets bit I love the blue and all those details. Plus love the nod to Bullitt
The plate on the Beetle was P51 AK1, so this is AK2. Cool refference!
Totally awesome! This is Lego at its best, I really love what has been done here for the Mustang, it looks sufficiently realistic and you can't help but say Wow out loud! The price is a bit forbidding, but the set itself is worth it I think. Awesome review, Jang!
Man when you put that air cooler on I got the smell of the drag strip I need it
So is the Charger a easteregg? Or are we getting one any time soon???
I love Mustangs, I've only ever owned Mustangs. This is a really great set and I'll have to pick it up at some point! I love all the additional options they provide too.
I really respect that LEGO went as far as getting the correct looking license plate from Michigan in the late 60’s and early 70’s
Yes, I was waiting for this! I wish instead of the 1967 one, they did the original 1964 version, though, but still great!
That interior is very tan indeed.
That's TAN!
Looks like jang got one with straight printing
Very sweet vehicle. I saw someone build it but I don't remember seeing the Michigan License plate options. Thanks for the close up views. The colors are well chosen for this muscle car.
They've done American. German, and British cars. Now it's time for a Japanese car. May I suggest the 1985 Toyota Supra Mk II. It's wedge shape would be perfect for Lego designers to work with. Whatever, I can't wait to see what comes next :)
Kevin Peterson I would prefer mk IIII
i got this lego for my birthday its really cool!
That’s by far one of my favourite sets ever

My first impression: i want it!
(Edit) i seriously just watched bullit last night, too. The chase scene was always my favorite.
I love this set, and I recently put a custom wheelie bar to complete the drag racing look

if i had to force myself to not like anything on this set, it's the anti-studs on the spoiler.
this set is absolute perfection.
Definitely in my top 5 most loved sets
This looks like something my father would love. I would love to get my hands on it too.
I love it! Best set so far this year. I am not really a car guy but this is beautiful
You forgot to mention that you can move the front seats forward to access the bad seats easier. I have the set too, big mustang fan!!! :)
Can’t wait to get my hands on this set
It looks so realistic! Can't wait for the next one
The fact he said big block engine is amazing
That bottle of NOS was a really well built plot twist 😂
My first reaction was wow
I actually saw this set before this video but then went to this channel knowing it’ll have a good review then after I watched this I bought it :)
Love the torq thrust rims
You are a stickering master, Jang.
I had to have this the moment I learned about it, so I got it and the keychain. I haven't built it yet. I think the set is awesome. Great to find out that you like it too.
Jang you are the best LEGO set review guy on TH-cam!!!
I've got the same tread pattern on my 4wd suv ,great in the mud & snow , kind of an all terrain tread :)
As a car guy I appreciate your knowledge of cars
I have this set and it's great! I just found it surprising that there is a gray line visible just below the louvers, and also that small patch where the door closes. I wasn't too sure if I wanted this but this looks great. I think I'll pick it up
The first time I saw this build i just say wow. I was amazed. I wish they will make the latest Dodge.
Hello from Australia. Great videos by the way
Great vid, one of my favorite car of all time
Man that 67 mustang she's a beauty
Wish they made this a technic set and made the zr1 a brick set
The battery has two ‘+’ terminals!
I've always loved older mustangs and VW vans, now that they're both in Lego form I'm probably going to have to get their sets so I can fantasize about driving them 😂
7:46 Sad. I only recognize those rims from GTA V.
6:41 That's Tan!
Super good Set! I am happy I bought it.
I need to display this with my Mustang hot wheels..
I used one on the steering wheel of this too, because why not, and some Mustangs did indeed have the Mustang logo on the steering wheel.

Yes! I’ve been waiting for this review, thank you!!
What this really makes me wish for is a model of the Pursuit Special from Mad Max, but at this scale and detail level.
I got mine on Monday and am sooo happy
Im thinking about getting this set. I kinda grew out of legos about 3 years ago. Im now 15 and restoring a red 1966 mustang that was my aunts car. To me it looks more like a 68 fastback. But still very cool
The Mustang is my favorite American car ever!
*Grunts approval* Mustang, yeah. 😀 Sorry-- my first thought was of the dad on Home Improvement.
