Retrobat RPCS3 V6 2024 Guide Here: :th-cam.com/video/O5D1gznsRiM/w-d-xo.html
Great guide! Im building my arcade console with a pedestal, so these are helping with my system i am putting together
No ptobs at all. Just make sure your specs are tasty enough to handle these higher end systems.
I'm currently doing exactly the same thing. These guides have been a huge help! It's a fair amount of work but it's actually a lot of fun dialing things in exactly the way you want. You just have to be patient and not expect instant gratification. Something the younger me probably wouldn't have been able to handle lol.
@HeavyInstinct glad I can be at service. I have a video somewhere on building a bartop.
@@JustJamie1983 I actually have a heavily modified X arcade tank stick that I'm using as my controller. I was able to add both a spinner and a flight stick to it. So it's got everything I need to play the old arcade games the way they were meant to be played. I'm old enough to have lived through the rise and fall of the Arcade scene. So that was very important to me. I just need to build a pedestal stand for it. It's currently just sitting on some cardboard boxes lol.
@@HeavyInstinct My era of arcade was the very early 90s. Great Times with Simpsons, TMNT, Toki, Shinobi. Times that kids of the last 10+ years will never experience.
Jamie thanks for everything you’re doing here. Are you planning on a retrobat v6 rcps3 guide? Admittedly, I was following your video yesterday to set up the emulator through retrobat and the M3U editor wasn’t there (or I couldn’t locate it). Is this even needed now?
I will be at some point, BatGUI is a mess right now.
great tutorials by the way
Thank you very much. I appreacite the good feedback 😀
Thank you for your videos! How can I make retrobat use discrete videocard but not integral videocard?
?
?
Would you mind telling where to get the game updates from?
Just Google ps3 game update .pkg and you should find a website that contains every update. Just remember to March serial and ID together and also regions are the same. Eg. My 007 game is a European one.
@JustJamie1983 Good afternoon, I apologize for bothering you, but I need help, my retrobat won't load the PS3 games, I've done everything! , my ps3 emulator works outside of retrobat but with the retrobat launcher it gives this error rpcs3 unknown fullscreen option, I've already changed my games to .m3u and various formats, I don't know how to solve it Crying or very sad
Hey Jamie thank you for your awesome guides, I have an issue. I migrated my retrobat to a SSD from HDD, since retrogui wont open. Any ideas how I can solve this? thank you in advance.
A fresh install.
@@JustJamie1983 Tried that a couple of times with no luck
@jacktoner7108 direct x and visual c++ installed?
@@JustJamie1983 yeah both installed. Also thank you for being so helpful.
When Im editing the game name in Retrobat Gui it does not save. It creates the shortcut but does not save on the list. Is this normal? Im trying to add many games it is hard to tell where I left off
Thanks
Hey just copy and paste the .m3u into your ps3 roms folder.
when i launch from retrobat it gives me a error ps3 game/usrdir/eboot.bin with cli argumentfailed reason invalid file or folder. any ideas? i followed your directions to the t
I would delete everything and start over again.
hello i have a question, is it possible to configure our emulators via the .exe and that retrobat take into account ? because there are not all the settings in retrobat.
I am sorry but I don't understand the question?
@@JustJamie1983 sorry I wanted to say, is it possible to configure the emulators via the emulator folders that retrobat takes into account? Because not everything can be configured in retrobat.
@solidaftsnake5616 you can attempt to but could be a chance you might break something. These are Setup to work with RB.
@@JustJamie1983 I've tried but it doesn't work, so maybe we don't have a choice.
@solidaftsnake5616 like I said. They are designed and tailored for RB
Can somebody please link me a usb I can use for my build?
I have a problem. I can launch ps3 games straight from the emulator but when i try launch them via retrobat, it gives me an error.
Sounds like you haven't linked them up correctly. Please watch the guide again
@@JustJamie1983 i did exactly the same as the video. I get a error "booting D:/Retrobat/emulators/rpcs3/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/EBOOT.BIN failed"
My game doesnt load. It just opens rpcs3? Any suggestions? Thanks
Walk me through what you have done.
Where did you get the update file
Using Google
any idea why there are no images or videos for ps3 game in retrobat
Did you generate the M3Us?
@@JustJamie1983 yes
@@dadsarcade3602 do you see anything for PS3 inside of Retrobat?
@@JustJamie1983 the games are there and run fine just no cover image or videos
Right ok. Are the games named correctly? One way of doing this is searching for the game titles and how they are named via Screenscraper website.
I download black opps 3 when go play game it's telling me it need an update?
Update firmware.
Update BO3. You will need a .pkg of BO3 updates. Then install via RPCS3. Good luck.
@@JustJamie1983 do I drag update into bat gui
@@johnpaulprendergast284 install via RPCS3. Goodluck.
Specs?
Of?
What about Gran Turismo 6
Should work fine. Each RPCS3 game requires certain configurations.
@@JustJamie1983 okay
I keep getting some error about when it tries executing to the eboot file location
Like if I just use rpcs3 alone my games work but when going from retro bat I end up getting an error on rpcs3
No idea. That's a new one on me. Check out an RPCS3 channel/forum.
Your issue is. You haven't followed the step in creating an .m3u file. Create an .m3u file and point it to your roms/PS3 folder. Job done. All done via BatGUI as in the video.
Follow your steps but retrobat doesn’t scrape the game and when start the game it send back to RPCS3 Emulator to start the game, don’t know why 😩
I put the game insides emulator/game folder not Rom folder is that correct?
Rcps 3 in 60 frames per second
?
Hi Mate got bulletstorm working but not in retrobat as it won't generate the M3U for some reason. So tried it on the actual emulator and works great. Any ideas why not doing the last stage on Retrobat? Thank you
Just delete what you have done and attempt it again. If you followed what I did I cannot see why it would display in Retrobat?
its the M3u it just won't generate this for some reason and went through each step and redone 2 times now. Great I got it working but frustrating that it isn't through retrobat.
@CutdarthvaderWOT you could use a notepad to make your own .m3u. Look on Google how to do this.
@@JustJamie1983 Thank you will look into this tomorrow.
Right even tried this with 007 game you used updated etc and still not generating the m3u file in the games folder?? Don't know what is going on with this could you please check still working or am I going mad. Sorry about this just need help. Thank you
Create your own m3u file. Easy to do. Check Google.
@JustJamie1983 got it working and to be fair retrobat had created the file but in my case it was in the ps3 roms folder. Used notepad to tell it where the game was and that was it worked through retrobat!! Amazing thanks for your help been great!!
@CutdarthvaderWOT No probs at all. Glad you sorted it.
@@CutdarthvaderWOThey i got same problem..could u plz tell me how u did it?
@@syedmuhammad8604 look in the PS3 Rom folder my files had been put there. Try that and good luck.
