Thanks for this, I set up the Ps3 yesterday, mainly using the Retrobat wiki for pointers. I downloaded the PUP update for the emulator but basically ran games from the Ps3 roms folder, which seems to work fine for the game I am playing but it does stick when pressing the buttons to come out of the game, easily sorted with ctrl+alt+delete which doesn't crash Retrobat.

@justjamie1983 im unsure why but i was only able to get the m3u to work via Bat Gui. followed the exact same steps as video. just as a final step i needed to scan with m3u bat gui to get retro to read them. i definitely renamed file extension and converted in the first place, but this solved my issue. just wanted to share.

Hello again, I have a membership option for custom videos.
Now honestly fallout is my absolute favorite game it's demed as in game this is new New Vegas I actually finished the game and had very few problems but there were a few graphical glitches whenever I would enter in a room It wouldn't pre-render and load properly All you have to do is go out and back into that room and it generally renders perfectly. I'm not sure if everyone else will have the same experience but I did get it to actually I finish the game

That's what I was telling my son it's always a progressive work there's always new things to do and learn, look at Xenia how much older it is and how much less compatibility it has.

Hi, Wondering if you can provide me some advise please. I have House of the Dead 3 as a PKG file. It loads fine through the RPCS3 but not through Retrobat. Any ideas. Thanks
Can you seen the game in Retrobat?
@@JustJamie1983 I can yes. I have the game in the 'Roms' Folder. I've done it the way where you add '.ps3' on the end of the folder names. The name does show in Retrobat, however it does not load the game.
My ps3 games were all working fine until I updated the retrobat to v6.0. It says that there's firmware missing. Hopefully this tutorial will sort my problem. Thanks pal!
Like I say in the video. V6 is a mess. The amount of people who are having issues is staggering. V5 release wasn't like this.

I've been using Batocera for years, can you tell me if PS3 emulation is better in Batocera, Retrobat, or Windows?
Likely Batocera as it dosent have windows hogging resources.
Idk why it lets me play the games on RPCS3 but games will not show up in RetroBat for some reason any tips RPCS3 pops up in retrobat but games do not ?
Yup. Start this guide again.
When I made the text a .m3u file it didn't show in retrobat, I made the file in retrobat/roms/ps3 and also copied the path and deleted the quotation marks.
Try it again buddy.
I think there needs to be more clarification (step by step) on how to set up .pkg games (22:19), like naming the game folders/files and setting up the .m3u file with the correct path. I'm not finding any information on how to get this type of ps3 game running through Retrobat. I have no problems running these games directly from rpcs3.

@@JustJamie1983 I'm trying to start mgs4 guns of patriot... I'm making changes to the game on rpcs3. When I decide to boot with custom the game works... but on retrobat everything is set to standard... how can I import what I did on rpcs3?
@nivmizzet84 just copy over the config files for the game.

Thanks I had my new laptop I don’t need retrobat and emulationstation. I have RetroArch I like using RetroArch instead.

I just rename the PS3 disc rom folders with a .ps3 on the end of the game's name and they work fine no need for m3u files for them

@Sirlarrythecat Where do you put that folder. Is it in normal retrobat/ROMs/ rpcs3 folder or retrobat/emulators/rpcs3/games?
