I've recently lost my Dad, who was a massive Northern soul fan. He used to go to Wigan Casino when he was only 13 years old. Throughout the years I used to sit and listen to Northern soul with my Dad and this was his favourite song. When we buried my Dad last month, we played this song whilst the coffin was being covered with soil. This song is my favourite soul song also.. A real classic still relatively unknown/unheard of by the masses 😊❤
I'll never get over it missing his last concert at quasimodo in berlin. We lost a beautiful soul a great songwriter with a unique sensitive voice that hits me deep in my heart. See you when I get there....
