Italia got a bright future ahead....loved these boys' game....too bad for their last play but a little grooming and sharpening and we will have a better squad in future...
Italy are well on their way to being a much higher ranked team in 6 Nations and world rugby. They're unrecognizable from a few years ago they have improved so much. Delighted for them.

As a French, congrats to this U20 Italy team, very nice match, hope you the best for the 6N ! And I'm happy to see Italy back again, these kids are really good !
Considering the difference between the French rugby movement and the Italian (just look the number of rugby players) who this team is competitive at these levels (it was already last year) it's something close to a sporting miracle (this also applies to the senior team).
So win or not, from me only applause to these guys and congratulations also to the Italian Rugby Federation who after many problems seems to working well (sorry for my "English"). 🍺
Let's hope the senior team can do even better on Sunday!

After 5 games I can easily say that Italy had the best scrum (and maybe pack) of the tournament
Great match, unlucky azzurrini. Probably a penalty try was due also for Italy. Nvm, we have to fight for the title and we proved we can, we were the strongest team on the pitch this time

Just watched the Ireland v Wales match. International U20s rugby is in a really good place. The future is bright!
I watched it and as an Irish fan, I'm worried for Ireland. Ireland pulled away in the second half but, given that for the last few years the Welsh u20s have been abysmal, Ireland should never have been behind in the first place...
Yep looks like the u20s 6 nations will be as tight as the seniors this year, struggling to see Ireland getting a second grand slam in a row anyway!
Easy try under the posts, with advantage...why pass the ball to the wing
France yet again throwing it away with so many small mistakes
I know it was just insanity, I was screaming at the tv you’ve got the advantage don’t go wide. Plus literally just before they went wide there was a huge gap under the posts to the right of the breakdown and they did a pick and go but went left, they made so many stupid decisions that second half, that and the missed kicks cost them the game. But the players were as good as France
No wonder they made it hard for themselves losing out on a potential winning seven pointer.
Makes no sense. You would think they understand the game.

Losing it at the end was such a shame, Italy seemed the better team.
Italy seem to be really strong now at underage rugby, great to see. They'll learn a lot from this narrow defeat, that's for sure.

Because while the English referee gave France a relatively soft Penalty Try (no need to attempt a conversion), despite numerous penalties in the lead up to every Italian try, the biased Englishman never even hinted that he would give the Italians a Penalty Try...
Just for clarity of information, I think the ref was Australian (still soft Penalty Try though, compared to other situations where "the defending team" - statistically, most of time France - was not similarly punished...)
Italy has a problem with the kicks.
During the game against Australia in November Italy missed clear penalties and conversions which can secure the victory before the last Australian try and we were spared by Donaldson
@@michaelodonnell824 I'm Italian and even if I was not happy with the referee in the first half, in the end he wasn't so bad and when you miss 4 of 5 kicks you cannot blame anyone but yourself
As Italian it's pity, they could win.
The referee maybe wasn't 100% good but if a team miss that many kick they can't blame anyone but themselves

The English referee robbed the Italians. He awarded France a Penalty Try after a couple of Italian offences yet, despite multiple penalty advantages on every Italian play, each time the Italians had to ground the ball.
But when did the English EVER play fair....
