Fantastic! Without getting too technical, what’s driving the overall generative quality? It doesn’t look like the sequencers are running. Do you have some of the oscillators running as really slow LFOs?
That's it. The events are « triggered », or say « sequenced », by the six 1004s on the left (see the picture at the beginning). If you are interested, i've been using the same colour system for some time now : red, orange, black and white cables. White cables are for trigger signals (in the top cabinet : the two LFOs at the bottom are triggering, simultaneously, two S&Hs and two enveloppe generators, and the enveloppes are modulating the first two (1006) VCAs). Black cables are for (slow rate) modulations (still in the top cabinet : the two LFOs at the top are modulating the two other (still 1006) VCAs. And there are two other voices that go through two (1005 this time) VCAs (one in « normal » mode and the other in « ring mod » mode). The amplitude is modulated by two other LFOs (the 1004s on the top left, but from the bottom cabinet). Red cables are for audio signals, and orange cables are for audio-rate modulations. (And when needed : purple is for the left channel and pink for the right channel, but that is not used here.)
@ thanks for that! I’m going to rewatch with that all in mind. I really appreciate what you’re able to do with the 2500. It’s a big system but also minimalist in many ways. Cheers!
Nice patch! Have you considered sampling and making new rhythmic and pitched sequence variations? To me, it's asking for it!!
