    The clutch/belt system on these machines is the most important aspect to understand for enjoyment and longevity of the machine. I appreciate the information through the years, not only have I saved money but I have confidence I am running my machine the way it was designed. If I want to run outside of those margins...I will find another setup/machine. This segment is so toxic with brand x is junk...it almost always how it operated. The most basic one is that people think these things are submarines as long as their snorkel is above water. Not yuking others yum...just dont tell me a machine is junk cause you drowned it.

    I do agree with a comment posted already. The simple solution is to develop a sound deadening rubber or poly plastic material for the floor and rear cabin materials from the factory

    Maybe considering the xpedition is worth as much as a decent pickup polaris could have added a bunch of sound deadening material to the firewall, floors, console, doors. Why overweight the primary and hurt performance

    Just put 32 inch tires on it and leave the stock weights in there clutch. You’ll essentially get the same result. Since it’s geared lower from factory you shouldn’t need clutch mods with 32s

    Great info. Thank you.
    Question. If I go to 32's on my Xpedition, can I still use the original 30 as a spare wheel to get me back home, or is it going to mess things up?

    I was told at the Polaris dealer that xpeditions built after aug automatically had the clutches changed to the newer comfort clutch can anyone confirm this?

    • @Hunterworks

      I can not confirm, if so it would be a bad idea

    Do you know what speed the clutch closes on a 2021 XP Turbo?

    • @Hunterworks
      @Hunterworks  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      No, a educated guess is around 60 but you can watch it happen by watching your tach

    • @reesemcgee708
      @reesemcgee708 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Gotcha, what will you notice on the tach? Looking for the speed on which RPMs stop climbing?

      @@reesemcgee708 No, watch our video on shift rpm

    I would love to have one of these machines BUT I can't pay that much money just to have to yell at my passengers. That kind of defeats the purpose of buying a newer more expensive machine if it is just a loud or louder that the ole trusty Viking. Polaris HAS to do better.

    So what I’m hearing is the xpedition needs a set of 35s 🤣

    • @stroke0187
      @stroke0187 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I have 35s and its still loud ! I also have the hunterworks belt and his claim of dropping rpms is a lie! There was no difference in a belt with 400 miles on it compared to the hunterworks.

      @@stroke0187 same here, got mine Friday. Jesus! Coming from an x3 max which I thought was noisy. No comparison, this thing is loud. I’m gonna do the dynamat sound deadener and terrick solutions carpet kit in a few weeks. Only because I really like this dang thing, noise is real though.

    • @Hunterworks
      @Hunterworks  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@stroke0187 It is not a lie, it did drop rpm here. Apparently not on all but surely grips better than stock due to being thicker and still a great belt
