Because of you guys I just made the trek from Houston TX up to Bobs Cycle in Ohio. Awesome trip and those guys had it all laid out and ready for me. I spent more time strapping my 2024 RZR Turbo R4 than inside doing paperwork lol. Some numbers to compare: Bobs was $35k OTD minus my TX taxes. In Houston the same unit was $46k OTD.

Isuzu used to make mini diesels like this. My family would use them in the outskirts of Ethiopia. Shout out to Polaris for managing to sell a 8 thousand dollar vehicle for 50k 😂
Most accurate comment in thread.. these Expeditions are conveniently built but cheap, underpowered, and less than a $10k unit. I’m sorry but most these sxs today even PRO R is wayyyy overpriced, and I’m not hating on company’s or anybody because I have a Ranger (love) it with tilt bed and an X3 R but would never bought the X3 if didn’t buy off insurance company where my buddy rolled it off high wall and I rebuilt it and give $1800.00 at that. Like the trucks today, over priced before retailers get their $8k-10k mark up

Hopefully the channel will grow so much they can be a permanent fixture with the dirt dudes full time that would be epic!! Love the expedition... it's a badass utilitarian creature for sure. As far as the door switches, looks like they're all ubiquitous.. Can't you just lift and lay and orientate them to your liking? I'm sure there's enough wire to follow the switch or rewire to the switch of your choice? Just food for thought... Now I'm going to have to buy some merch to see if I can be a lucky man and win the badass RS1 you guys built together,....n addition, keep doing what you doing dudes, looking forward to more videos to come!

You are right the suspension is mind blowing four of us cruise down trails 35mph that would destroy my jeep at 15 and it feels great
def nice for its purpose but NO atv is worth 50k!!! good for the channel n look forward to those vids, i love the trails! it should def come with a road kit for sure, horn blinkers etc....u can lay foam inside the cab n dampen the sound
Cool vehicle but personally not sure it would be better than a 2024 Toyota 4Runner or 2024 jeep wrangler for same price
Depends on your terrain and the speed that u wanna ride. If your trails are average ok but if they are very rough u definitely want a side by side but yeah there isn't any vehicle worth 50 grand no way.

What is great about Bobs, everyone gets the same rock-bottom price. As Justin once told me "We love customer referrals! however, if you thinking name-dropping that "X" told you to call. (even if it is the famous Dirt Dudes!) thinking that will get you a better price, it does not matter. Everyone is treated the same" Congrats man.
I got to see that rig about a week before you guys picked it up. That’s one badass ride. My buddy is the parts guy for bobs.

44 out the door for the top model. Bought it today. And yes it’s worth it. I’ve owned 13 sxs since 2019. This is by far the best built and nicest to drive.

Sweet ride! To much money for what it is in my opinion but it's not my money. My buddy bought a turbo r about the same time as Jake and Bobs was not the cheapest. My buddy paid 1000's less and bought in michigan. It takes alot of time and calling around but it is worth it to do. Congrats on your ride!

The crazy high number will be the maintenance and repair cost.
Start watching for the oil pan to leak. Warped pans and no gasket.

I like the vehicle but my opinion is, 50 thousand dollars and look at the low quality of the seats. The plastics and overall shapes of simple things are crap. The old fashioned vents and the shapes in the way they through the dash together and the way the motor sounds. No signal lights no mirrors translate to no way 50k! Unless 25k went into power windows and ac

It is a overlanding sxs that is meant to haul 2k on the hitch an 1000 pounds on the frame to long distance destinations. Any changes to the design will change how well it performs in this area.
As an Owner a couple X3s I feel you on the cab noise, but it’s also not a deal breaker, good vid guys!

Have you had any issues with yours? My windshield leaks and i have a noise from the prop shaft at 5500-6000rpms. Theyve replaced both and the issues still remain.

I checked Bob's Cycle a few weeks ago on a 2024 RZR XP 1000 and got a better deal in North Carolina.
Its nice that it has turf mode but from what I heard that was a weak link that the Generals had . I'm sure you guys will put it to the test though.
if your going to go on overlanding trips. get yourself an Anker 767. itll make life much easier off grid.
Did they put better seats in it or just the normal Polaris ones? Canam has always sold me on the comfort of the seats.
These seats are pretty comfortable to be honest
No one has talked about low range? Is it low enough? They should have put the low gear out of the trails and rocks edition in it.
dont forget we got a locking storage arm rest for wallet or a pistol.
I'm wondering if putting some acoustic egg crate foam in the bed will make a noticeable difference in the engine noise.
Try putting a piece of carpet in the bed or add some sound deadener under the bed.

I would like to see a side to side comparison of this and a 4RUNNER TRD PRO. Close in price. I struggle to think that the Polaris is worth it when making this comparison. Thank you for the content!! I do like the Xpedition
No shit … hell even a jeep would be a better option for most people … but I’d lean towards a Toyota Tacoma trd pro myself be way better purchase than this side by side.
I had a hard time buying a used can am defender 1000 six seater for $12,000 hahaha I love the thing it’s nice for around the house I have a lot of land so I can get around and check on animals and stuff so it’s handy but nearly $50,000 for a side by side??? No way hell you could go buy a low mileage 2020 king ranch f150 I have one and I’d way rather be in it than my side by side haha.

Hey lookin at buyin the 1500 northstar (always been told 4 seaters are station wagons) I have a pro r 2 seater, also looking at the diamond c trailer beaver tail, but might need a cdl to tow it.

I would suggest taking a look at the Xpedition ADV before committing to the 1500. If you’re coming from a Pro R you’ll probably enjoy the sportiness of the Xpedition

How does the suspension compare to an x3, or the pro r? I have a x3 and have been eye balling these quietly but worry I’ll miss the power. East coast riding so only use so much of it but I’ve always worried about the utility suspension being less than I have now.
It’s definitely not utility suspension. Closer to a General but better. Basically between a General and a RZR 1000. Speed wise it’s definitely not a X3 but it’s more than you would think for what it is. All around it’s a totally different driving experience

200k LITE BRITE NATION JEEP Might keep up,. but they spent 200k to get there in suspension an engine mods.
As smart looking as that is,i just couldn't live with a CVT gearbox.It's got to be a proper auto or manual or i just wouldn't buy it

@@dirtdudes also I think Trai Armor is making a full skid plate for it. I have been told by a friend 33's will clear stock with the right offset on rim. With the long travel probably 35's. With the low gearing they pull them fine from my understanding. Awesome ride fellas. I trading the turbo in on a 2 seat ADV in 2024.
