Virgil is definitely an underated performer. He could've got a lot farther if he was used better in both WWF and WCW. Right after his babyface turn against Dibiase in the early 90's he was over big time!
This is the real Michael "Mike" Jones. Virgil as the IWC knows him right now on social media is a character played by him. It's this thing again, wrestlers like Scott Steiner or Virgil play their heel character so well that people actually believe it, but in real life, they're great guys (except for Virgil talking people into buying things for a way too high price). Heels these days focus too much on getting pops, a guy like Scott Steiner on the other hand got heat to the max when he was a heel and worked both the casual fans and the "smart" marks because he played his character amazingly well.
He was selling his autographs at $15 a pop and I actually saw a guy who got his autograph because Dibiase and others were on the large photo. Virgil tried to charge him extra for signing a LEGENDS photo.. LOL.. I was like wow

Aww, you saw him light up when he talked about the action figure. It's a shame he was a career jobber, butt of jokes, punchlines, etc.
