Man love the series decided to come back to the start for a bit, and man I was always confused why you said you didnt like some of your older videos and compared to todays i can see why. Its not that this is terrible or anything but Youre so much more confident sounding now and energetic. I doubt you'll ever read this, but if you do I Just want to tell you how great you've become over the last 3+ years
I know I'd love to see more segments on it. I know the The Monday Night Wars that the WWE did were more overviews and in general, I think having a more perspective analysis of the Monday by Monday look at each shows from a retrospective would be great. I know I would watch Nitro, switch to Raw and watch it that way which was why I enjoyed Mondays coming home from school.

YES...please, more of these type of videos! This was awesome to watch and brought back a lot of memories watching both shows. I'm from California and was living there @ the time of the Monday Night Wars. Fortunately, I didn't have to toggle between shows as Nitro would end an hour or so before Raw would air, initially. However, a portion of Nitro's replay would air during Raw. When Nitro eventually added a third hour, it would end during the first few minutes of Raw.
12:56 - the jobber on Raw and Savage on Nitro have the same style of attire, crazy colorful pattern on one half and solid color on the other half. Nice bit of symmetry there.
So I discovered RTW late and have been binging the hell out of it. I just caught up 😡😭. Decided to come back to where it all began. You can see how far it has come as a series when you rewatch the first few episodes (which are still great). Little did we know how into it we would all become!

I really enjoyed WWE/WCW in the 90’s early 00’s - now Wrestling doesn’t grab my attention and it’s due to the amount of time RAW/Smackdown are on 3 and 2 hours respectively and quality isn’t there. If they cut each programme down by an hour and have decent quality then I’ll start watching again. It’s always has been quality over quantity.

This era was excellent. I was in college at the time, and i remember my roommates having a huge shift about rasslin. They went from "ughhh...are you watching _wrestling_ *eyeroll*" to "dude! are we watching wrestling tonight??" by second semester.
If u continue to do this week after week for each week of the war that's be great. Keep a tally of how many Nitros and RAWs were better in your opinion... like a score.
My buddy Dan got me hooked a few months after the nWo formed. Seeing Dark Hollywood Hogan just made me feel like the kid in me was dead and I was born again, and it was 4-Life! Me and Dan and Mikey and Jimmy and Jerry and Noah, my boys, still do the Wolfpack instead of first bumps or handshakes...

Love this concept! I remember once the Monday Night Wars really got rolling switching back and forth between the shows; sometimes settling on RAW and other times Nitro. I was WWF through and through but I couldn't help but be drawn to WCW at times especially when NWO launched!
Not sure I’d want to see all them but maybe the episodes with the beer and milk baths on Raw or Hogan joining the NWO. So, some of the defining episodes of each. Maybe like the top 10. Was fun to watch though, brings back great memories.
Back then I would've said "Hey, I'm not a WWF or WCW fan, I'm a wrestling fan. WCW, you asshats, why do you force people to choose by picking this spot on the TV calendar? I want to watch both your programs!"

If I remember correctly raw and nitro aired simultaneously here I used to watch raw and my mom or my aunt would tape nitro for me depending on who I was living with that night my friends used to channel hop all the time but for me it was a easy decision which to watch it was raw every time as that was the show that had Shawn on it and as a six year old kid at the time there was absolutely nothing Wcw could do to grab my attention and take my focus away from HBK
I remember this well I did channel hop cuz I mainly was a wcw guy entirely but I loved under taker and kanes debut really made me click my channels a lot then nwo and DX and stone cold and the rock only made me wear my remote out lol
Although I'm not a hardcore wrestling fan, I love the stories of the backstage politics of everything. You have an amazing channel and clearly love what you do and are a great storyteller. Keep up great work, looking forward to the next one.
I have a respectable knowledge of wrestling, I know most of the main performers and am interested enough to have opinions about favourite performers. But know that there are people out there who love it so much more than me. Religiously watch this, OSW Review and Wrestling with regret. Also just finished the Wrestling Territories mini documentaries.

Im subbing to WWE Network so I can watch the weekly Nitro Raw and ECW shows from 95 onwards Back when I was a younger all I got was Raw, Nitro and some of the PPVS. So I missed out on quite a lot and im certainly not interested in anything modern WWE has to offer. So il go back and watch all the classic old stuff.
Scott Norton is one of the most criminally underrated 90's wrestlers. He wasn't booked well in America (WCW) being used mostly as a background filler piece of the nWo, but his work in Japan stands up today, around 25 years later.
I cant believe what this series has grown into! This is the Genesis of what you have created my friend. You have and continue to do a fantastic job. Between "Disco Fever" "The Big Bratwurst" "Chin Locks" "The Jam" "Shawns Fanny Pack" "Dirty Old Assholes" and "Steve Mufuggin Blackman" I cant imagine you ever dreamed it would get this big. This is a cool concept, keep at it. I'd watch more of these. Also, really odd to see Sabu in WCW, and Shane Douglas in WWF, at nearly the same time no less. You don't stuff like this anymore.

Didn’t they use to have that, on WWE NETWORK? I haven’t had WWE NETWORK in awhile cause my Samsung TV is old and it won’t allow Streaming WWE. But I remember my friend had WWE 24/7 that was awesome. Then when WWE Network launched I was there right away to Subscribe. How is the Network now, is it better or nah? (i'm really not recommending you actually pay for it tho... might be worth one monthly payment then cancel again, maybe)

But by the late 90’s early 2000’s he got rid of almost everything, smh 🤦♂️. I Begged him not to give it away but he did. They came in the Original box and all that. Once DVD 📀 came out my Pops wanted nothing to do with VHS 📼 and now with streaming forget it about, he don’t watch DVD 📀 anymore rarely. Once I get my TV 📺 situation fixed I’m gonna buy a VHS 📼 Player and start looking for old Wrestling VHS TAPES. I’ve seen this interview with Stevie Ray from Harlem Heat as he talking I couldn’t help but notice all his WCW VHS 📼 Tape Collection. Wild 😜!!! I love technology and streaming but nothing beats a VHS 📼 or DVD 📀 especially the box that they come in! Miss these days! Thank You 🙏 Again!
Todd Pettingill was PERFECT for what they were going for at the time, haha. I always loved him and thought of Michael Cole as the new Todd Pettingill for alot of years ha.

I think I was about five years too old to find Todd funny. I do appreciate the energy and enthusiasm he had doing pretty much anything, though. That could not have been easy during one of the worst periods in WWF/E history.
Totally have to do this. New episodes every Monday at the same time that the old wars were going on. That would be really cool. You can make an hour-long and I would watch it.👍

thanks for this! would love to see more. it wasnt until i watched an Eddie Guerero match by chance that i really started to channel switch between raw and nitro. At this point i felt Hogan and Macho had given wwf their best years and had no interest in what they were doing. It was wcw's midcard that got me into the brand. Benoit, Alex Wright, La Parka, Jericho were phenominal and underused.
I'd love to see the next week reviewed. It's a nice time capsule to that time in my life. Though I think it's about when I started to check out of wrestling. So it's nice to see the old faces in "new" matches.

Todd Pettingill was PERFECT for what they were going for at the time, haha. I always loved him and thought of Michael Cole as the new Todd Pettingill for alot of years ha.

I couldn't stand Todd Pettingell. Even back then as a kid i always thought he was just too goofy and too much wannabe-funny. Total pain in the ass!

I think I was about five years too old to find Todd funny. I do appreciate the energy and enthusiasm he had doing pretty much anything, though. That could not have been easy during one of the worst periods in WWF/E history.

thanks for this! would love to see more. it wasnt until i watched an Eddie Guerero match by chance that i really started to channel switch between raw and nitro. At this point i felt Hogan and Macho had given wwf their best years and had no interest in what they were doing. It was wcw's midcard that got me into the brand. Benoit, Alex Wright, La Parka, Jericho were phenominal and underused.

This was a fun watch! It feels nice to go back and relive this war, especially comparing the segments head to head.
I'd love to see the next week reviewed. It's a nice time capsule to that time in my life. Though I think it's about when I started to check out of wrestling. So it's nice to see the old faces in "new" matches.
Don't care what anyone says about this era..these were good times.
