I run a mobile auto/truck repair service company in NJ, we take deposits/credit card info in Stripe on every booking. Even customers that tell me over the phone "We'll pay cash". "Absolutely, we require a card on booking the appointment but you can pay cash after it's done"

Good advice and insight Tony. It still burns me when people cancel last minute or no show. It's definitely a respect thing as it just feels like your time isn't valued by the client and that's a bad relationship to continue for sure.

Hey Tony how do you compare your blower compared to a leaf blower ??

I used leaf blowers before this one. The pros about this BLO is that it’s smaller and has more power. It dries cars quicker. But I do feel like leaf blowers are built more heavy duty so they last longer.
I’ve been having the BLO for about a year and the wires are starting to show, seems like it’ll be an issue in the future. Air also comes out from around the case since it’s been dropped a few times. One hard drop and it’ll probably break the whole thing.

I asked for a deposit if they cancel they lose the deposit. No refunds on deposits they cancel they don’t call I lose another customer.

I do take a $100 deposit.... reason for me taking deposit. I had a client booked 2 cars and never showed up and end up didn't do anything that day.. so from that I take a $100 then had one client didn't show up then I got that $100

Guess that’s more of a reason to not take it personal if they cancel with that much $ on the line. Good for you if you can get it by all means get it!
