    It’s fact Filipinos value togetherness as a family, Garlic rice is easy to make it’s like fried rice but different uses lots of garlic, salt and sometimes Filipinos like to improvise their garlic rice with extra ingredients like egg and leftover meat, also Filipinos are taught to uphold Filipino values like respect for the elderly. Filipinos love to sing and enjoy good food

If you go to the Philippines, the Filipino people look mostly Southeast Asian, with a little bit of Northeast Asian ancestry and South Asian ancestry from India. From my DNA tests, even though I am half Filipino half European American, it turns out I have Japanese and Indian ancestry from India (and DNA studies have shown that Filipinos have ancestry from India). My mom (who is full Filipino), she get's mistaken to be half Japanese/Filipino or Chinese/Filipino.

      I still consider Filipinos to be brown Asians. Those Chinese and Japanese passing Filipinos exist because of mixing from Chinese and Japanese immigrants. A true a Filipino is brown looks like Malay and Indonesian, Austronisian. Not just darker skin tone but gave different facial features.

    • @gregorypetty6887
      @gregorypetty6887 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@tzenzhongguo True. I agree with you. I feel as if Indian people of India and us Filipino people are brown Asians, and we get along with each other and have a lot in common, b/c of shared history and culture. Also since Indian Americans and Filipino Americans are the largest non-East Asian ethnic groups here in the United States, Indian Americans and Filipino Americans are the most numerous of brown Asians here in the United States. Even though I have brown skin, which I get from my mom, who in turn got her brown skin from her dad (my grandma, my mom's mom mother side had pale skin like the Japanese do), I inherited my brown skin from my mom through her paternal side, while my brother is lighter skin than me, with his skin tone being very light like the Japanese and Han Chinese people. But I'm proud of my brown skin and I'm not ashamed that I am darker compared to some other Filipino half European American people.
