      375 GTB - Well you picked them. Mine are the 250/275 LM, the 375GTB/GTB4 and the 330P4. The GTO is nice also, both of them. These are some of the "if only" cars that I, coulda, woulda, shoulda bought many years ago when I might have afforded them. I did get a cobra 427 and a 65 GT350, never did get the 289 Cobra, so all is not lost.

      Holy Shiite ! really !? Thats awesome ! I stood by this car at Indy during the Ferrari Club of America national meet back in 2005 and told the many F1 spectators about it as the F1 race was that weekend . It was on the infield at the time .. most people were going to see the latest model F430 at the time . I was explaining to them about how the 430's rear haunches were a tribute to the 250lm etc.. after the event the museum curators watching over it opened it up for me and said they'd wished they had put a battery in it before bringing it out so they could fire it up for me . They could see how obviously passionate I was speaking to people about this historical majestic car ! And that exhaust note is delicious and raunchy lol

    Got to see this car on the infield at Indy about 15 years ago during the FCA annual meet/F1 race weekend ... I was so moved by seeing it out there I was stopping spectators (who were more interested in the F430 latest and greatest and by the way gets it's haunches from this design ) and telling them about the outrageous historical significance of this particular car ... the curators were like " WOW ! we can see how passionate you are about this 250LM we are going to open it up for you so you can see the engine and interior better ... we wished we would have put a battery in it because we would love to start it just out of respect of your passion " 😎 that's my story with this magnificent machine .

    Listening to this after watching Chirs Harris piece on running a 250LM at Goodwood, and this car sounds completely different, as if the Cams and the exhausts are significantly different specifications.
    Both are great soundtracks.

    • @wendsschumacher-milburn
      @wendsschumacher-milburn  4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The sound quality of my video is bad because it was taken on my cell phone. That being said, the car hadn't run in thirty years so we were in the midst of tuning it at that point so it was misfiring occasionally. As far as cams go I couldn't tell you what the potential difference is w/o researching a bit. The exhaust dates to at least 1970 when the car was donated to the museum at Indianapolis. I would imagine that it had been replaced at some point during the prior 5 years of its racing career though.
