C. barca usually doesn't eat fish or shrimps. In their native habitat, they almost exclusively feed on frogs.

Beautiful fish & tank. It fights against the narrative that snakehead fish, that I prefer to use "channa" or " channas," are nothing but vicious killers. I am sure these fish are all well fed. I have found it is not so much the species but the Individual fish that can be the problem. Love the way the music goes with the movement of your fish.
actually channa species like Aurantimaculatas or Barca have 2 genres, the first love feeder fish, the second only offers worms and crickets

In my opinion just Angelfish he refers to as Mr Thunder Dragon friend, those small fishes are obviously his food. Their size is most suitable as food.
@@AdDeensLaw no, Barca snakehead is kinda special his main diet are worms, insect mouse, and birds. They don't eat fish if the fish Don't bother them.

So, it's a rare fish to be found in the World. But my hometown, Dibrugarh, India has abundant of it. But only in few spots. And yes I'm still living in my hometown which is in the state of Assam, India.
Recently, 20 December 2023
A group of smugglers were caught by the police in my town, illegally smuggling these fish. There were a total of 500 of these fishes.
The total expense of all those 500 smuggling fishes were close to €500,000. It's €1,000 for 1 fish. And in Indian currency its 4.5 crore or 45 million Indian rupees.
Being recorded as the most expensive smuggling of any fish around the world caught. The criminals were faced with charges and the police confiscated the 500 fishes.
