This was the best Hot Wheels game ever made prior to Unleashed, and the closest we ever got to an AcceleRacers video game. We had 10 different AcceleRacers cars to choose from including the following: 1: Jackhammer (Realm Series(Water Realm)) 2: Spectyte (Realm Series(Cosmic Realm)) 3: Chicane (Team Colors Series) 4: Covelight (Acceleron Series) 5: Battle Spec (AcceleCharged Series) 6: Synkro (Team Colors Series(DS Version Exclusive)) 7: Hollowback (Original) 8: Spinebuster (Acceleron Series) 9: Carbide (Team Colors Series(DS Version Exclusive)) 10: Power Bomb (Team Colors Series) Fun Fact, Spinebuster was hilariously misspelled "Spin Buster" in the DS Version of the game.
Actually the closest to Acceleracers was the Highway 35, and Planet Hotwheels, but Planet is kinda unfinished and barely known by fans. All the franchise have acceleracers cars but most games aren't that close to the movie. Nowadays we have a few non official Acceleracers versios like the Distance modded tracks and a few fan games.
It's weird how the Pc version is bassicaly the Wii version while the 360 is the best looking of them all. I mean why didn't they port the 360 version to the pc? If you do a sonic all stars racing you'll see how that game has the same issue on pc, a port of the Wii version while ps3/360 look far better even tho they run at 30 fps
Yeah, I have a fix that allows you to properly change the settings and resolution for the PC version but it still doesn't look anywhere near as good as the Xbox version. The Xbox version seems to have more advanced shaders for everything, the floor, the tracks, the glass, tyres, etc. Even the carpet has that graphical effect where it looks like it has individual fibers. The Wii version has lower quality textures than the PC version but it has a more cell shaded look to the cars. It seems all 3 versions have different shaders. It's not the first time things like this have happened, Halo released with broken shaders on PC for instance. This game was made back when devs didn't care too much about PC ports so I wouldn't be surprised if the Xbox version was the one they polished up the most and then just did a quick PC port.
@@snark567 What is the solution to change the settings to make it look good? I just downloaded the full version, but it won't let me modify the graphics. The option appears, I change it but nothing!
@@Crismar18 It's been a while but I think I did a google search and found a modified exe file. I then used reshade to add a retro filter and add back some of the gloss on the the surfaces to make it more pleasing for me to look at. If you're after graphical fidelity the Xbox version can be played on an emulator but only the bedroom levels, everything after that is glitched. Maybe if enough people let the Xenia devs know about it, they might do something to make the game playable but as it stands right now, it's a bit of a niche title.

hey you didnt do this right, since you pirated the game, you werent able to turn on the high graphics on PC. The PC version actually looks just like the 360 version
Yes, I also played this version and I must say that it was quite a vice (in a good way), although the DS version was obviously inferior in quality to its Sobremesa brothers, in the DS version it feels that Driving is more dynamic and fun compared to its desktop versions, which have somewhat clumsy and slow driving.
