I did the OPV mod plus swapped to using Ascaso 57mm precision basket. This has improved the Grace espresso immensely! I mean, it was already great but these two changes have helped a lot.
hello. Have you tried Americano on it? well, just make a second espresso and fill it with water from the machine. Do you have a taste and smell of plastic input? try pouring water simply from the group or from the steamer and taste it just don't get burned. and from the tank and the compartment with the water tank there is no smell of plastic?
Hi i don't smell any plastic at all. Remmember these are brass boiler it may have a little trace therefore it is suggested to flush everything out on your first try
Great video, since you have both machines, do espresso shots taste different from one machine to another? Should we save money going for the 57 or not?
@@StefanusGoana I am seeing an amazon from Itally on Grace for 500 euros + 50 shipping to my country. Do you know if thats a good deal or should I search more? Do you know any decent store outside of amazon to order Lelit Machines?
@@konstantinosvakouftsis4086 hey i totally suggest you to buy from your local distributor becayse you will need someone to take care of that 1 year warranty and longterm maintenance. Check which company selling in Amazon and where are they located.
I have a question for you: How much time it take between end of steam distribution (after push the button) to get to the return to the coffee/water fonction ready? It seam long. It take on mine 13 minutes. It is normal?
I do have to raise the question of whether it makes sense to upgrade from GRACE/VICTORIA TO ELISABETH? I wonder if the espresso is so much better? As I make only 2 espresso in the morning and 2 espresso in the afternoon is it worth spending so much more money? I have already a decent grinder DF 64 with Titanium Burr!

@Stefanus Goana - Please could you explain what are the physical differences between anna 2 and grace? Like do they use identical boilers with same power, differences in power of the steamer? I'm keen to buy grace for ~EUR600, seems like a good deal. I use Nespresso atm. Please try answer, many thanks.
Hi Anna is polished stainless steel, at some point i find it easier to clean and maintain. Grace has a modern look and colored which may not be everyone's favourite. In terms of boiler yes the same. The main advantage from Grace is 3 seconds pre-infusion and shot timer
@@StefanusGoana Thank you for clarifying, much appreciated. So that hardly justifies EUR140 difference between the two, think I'm going to get the Anna-2 (TEM) now

Are the 58mm portafilter and 300mm boiler the only advantages the PL91T has over the PL81T? Some sites state that the PL91T and PL92T have saturated groupheads (where the boiler sits directly on top of the grouphead for excellent temperature stability). Does the PL81T also share this design? Thank you so much for the great content! I just subscribed :-)
Hi if boiler sits directly on top of grouphead basically all Lelit machine from 50' lines and VIP Lines are having the same design. In fact only both Bianca and MaraX are not
@@StefanusGoana Then it that case the PL81T is an amazing deal. It should have better temperature stability than machines with E61 groupheads (like Bianca and MaraX), and at 250ml the boiler should still be plenty large for a 30ml shot to not drop significantly in temperature. I don't really get why one would get the PL91T, except maybe for compatibility with specialized 58mm baskets that are not available in 57mm versions. The essentials (bottomless portafilter, self-leveling tamper, distributor) are all available for 57mm, even if are slightly more expensive.

You should be able to get it from any Lelit distributor. If they don't have stock you can pre order from them

You need to put the filter in water before you attach it to the machine.

Of course both has the same 57mm group head

Yes they don't taste much different. The only problem with 57mm is the accessories, it is not common

I haven’t timed mine but 13mins definitely seems excessive. At a guess my machine might take less than 5mins.
