Frame rust undercarriage is scary.. definitely been in a few fender bender and not reported to insurance..

Make sure the engine has had the timing chain replacement. BMW used plastic timing chain guides on the N20 and they are known for grenading around 100k

If it's anything like the Audi timing chains, if it breaks, good bye motor. So, definitely something you want to check.

Based on what we've seen so far, it's no where close to the CAEB 2.0T from audi. But the BMW N20 engine (and N55, which is the 6 cylinder version of the same engine) are known to have issues too, rod bearings and sometimes, chain and tensioner issues...

Mine is I 328 2012 with 93k milles what do think so far I love it
