In most matchups standing inside waves will also force enemies to hit the wave with skillshots if they want to get any poke off, ultimately leading to them pushing the wave in. The earlier you let this happen on a bouncing wave the higher the chance of the wave not building out into a freeze :)

my friend has been building prowlers claw->death dance->maw pyke since the start of season 12, he also goes glacial and aftershock sometimes if he’s support, always hob when mid tho
🤔 I think this play style is kinda bad. Cause if you can't get ahead your Pyke is no other than a swimming machine with a little bit of HP no dmg and can't clear the wave
Your silver opinion doesnt count It doesnt matter, hes only playable for 20 minutes then everyone outscales you, you can't assassin or engage. Pyke solo lane its really bad, he has 0 wave clear and R is nerfed so gold generation disapeared
It’s fine it’s not good enough to be meta breaking as tanks and bruisers (the 2 strongest classes this season) and anything in this season will be able to one shot pyke past 20 minutes all while tanking him

You need lethality item in early game to solo kill. If you just go tank, you have no wave clear, no kill pressure
