    Hey Weavers! I realize it's a little disappointing for me to show a product, only for you to see that it's out of stock, BUT I have just spoken with the good people at Speedyjig and they're looking to have their stock back in by the end of next week. They're still recovering from the holiday season, so your patience is appreciated! I'll post the full detailed review of this product when they are back in stock! :)

    Hey, i bought a roman helmet paracord bead with 2 holes in the top and open on bottom for cord to go through. I was going to make an king cobra but am having an issue with placement of thr helmet. I wanted it in the center of the bracelet but cannot think of a way to do it. Any ideas? Thank you. :)

    Can you tell me the best brand paracord to use for making a monkeysfist or at least the brand you use in your videos?
    I ordered paracord from ParacordPlanet and I'm not having any luck with it.

    Thank you for the video but can you please make a video of just the tightening part at the end? My monkeys first looks fantastic when I take it off the jig and then I screwed up trying to tighten everything. I had probably done at 50 times and had to start over.

    When you start the wraps, are you holding it in the center of the 6’ length?

    • @TheWeaversofEternity
      @TheWeaversofEternity  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Elizabeth, no the monkey's fist doesn't start from the center of the cord. Depending on what you're making you would measure out 1-3' and then start wrapping from there. Then you would have two ends coming out of the monkey's fist and you could then finish it from there.

    Gidday. been trying all day to tie this damn monkey fist. It isn't as easy as it looks the first time around! nor the second, third, fourth, or fifth. I gotta ask. when you lay the paracord on the jig you start wrapping anti-clockwise, but when is it 1 pass? Is it when you get back to where you started or what? and any tips for tightening such as where you start. Oh hell! Can ya just do it for me? lol!

    • @Bohica.363
      @Bohica.363 ปีที่แล้ว

      Where you hold your initial cord to one of the posts of the jig, that counts as the first wrap. The next time you get to that point it is your second pass.

  • @DOCTORJAN714

    First of all I was OK with the jig when I took it off my hands which is ironic because when I did use a jig I actually could make a monkeys fist by the way why does the monkeys fist have to be with five strands why not four strands just out of curiosity.

    • @TheWeaversofEternity

      Patreon is a big part of what helps this channel continue going on, so I think 30 seconds is a minor thing that the average viewer can overlook if they don't want to support via that route, which is totally fine. As for the jig being out of stock, unfortunately I'm not in control of if Speedyjig keeps their items in stock. As far as I know they are a family owned company so you may have to just have a little patience for these things. You can always go to their website and sign up for e-mail notifications for when the item is re-stocked.
