Regarding the lightness of your Jig Pro Uni Jig, I’ve found a way to keep these more stable, or any wooden Paracord jig. Here in the U.K. you get rolls of non-slip rubbery stuff for camping Caravanning and motorhomes to keep dishes etc from rattling. I simply stuck a full size piece to the base of all wooden Paracord jigs and that was enough to keep the where I set them, simple and being a caravaner had a roll already. Works a treat and could be used on any jig to help stop it running around the work area. Love the videos.
I want to try the 2nd one. That swivel action is just too convenient. The 3rd one would probably take care of my desire to be able to rotate though. I’ve been using one of the lower profile bracelet and monkey fist jigs.
Surely you could make a stand for the Jig Pro Shop Maxi Jig, that would allow it to rotate. Just get a couple of scrap pieces of wood and a nut and bolt. Job Done.😁😁😁
July 2022. Which is the Best Monkey Fist Jig for Pool Table Size Balls and smaller in size? Has anything changed since this video has been made and are there better videos to watch?
I think they've updated (read "downgraded") the SpeedyJig since this video. I bought one fairly recently and the rods it came with do not match this video or even the product description. Rather than the long chromed rods, I received rods no longer than 6" with a rough matte black texture (making it annoying to slide the fist off the rods). I contacted the selling, thinking this was a mistake, but no, they changed the product but didn't update their pictures or description. So... buyer beware. Edit: Following the link in the description, it looks like they finally updated the product listing.
Received my SpeedyJig today having purchased it via Amazon andvam thoroughly pleaed with the qaulity of the product. I emailed them to thank them but also mentioned your video recommendation so hope that meets you well. 😀👍
In making a monkey fist is a golf ball to light Little follow through. I am guessing using a steel ball bearing is best for non corrosive purposes. Will search the web for tougher plastic or Ceramic style ball's. Any suggestions I have yet to make one collecting Pcord & tool. I an disabled this looks likely a good way to use some of my time.
@@Uncle_Red thx marking bought. Looking in a buddy's garage before he has his garage sale. Found almost complete set of Snooker balls small set 2". 17 balls $10.00 for all could not pass them up now i have plenty. Snooker ball also comes in 2 1/16" full size. Garage sales good place to look.

Thanks for the upload, I picked up the speedy jig a while ago and enjoy it myself.
I was thinking about making these monkey fist, but now I wanna make a jig first.
Love the video! Is there a video comparing jigs for bracelets?
I went from a homemade jig, to the speedy Jig and I’ve never looked back! And I make hundreds and hundreds of these things LOL!
If anyone has the authority on which monkey's fist jig is best, it's your brother! lol
Where do I buy the longer guide rods? My yellow jig came with short black rods
Thanks for the tips
You can just paint the speedy jig with a spray paint .super easy

Where do you buy your paracord.

Golf ball monkey fists still pack a punch, but steel has more mass. Try them both out.

@@mikestolpp9195, nice!
5:30 there are a hundred different colors of spray paint?
Hi friend, tell me what camera you are shooting on? Thanks!
Well, you know, I don't wanna be a monkey wrench, but that monkey fist I'd like to learn.
