That's just a baffle to help with fuel sloshing back and forth. Might not think so but without that in there heavy braking with a half tank of fuel could get herky jerky as it rushes forward and slams the front of the tank
He's absolutely right. I was one of the machine builders that built the machine that processed that tank. Interesting process welding the plastic retaining disc's in place. Nice work on the 05.
