But that’s ok I put it in my craft area and I also did the (you got this) and I for sure need to get the tools to take the vinyl off cause I had hard time without it lol. So I’m going to go out and get this for sure.

Planning to buy a Cricut Maker 3 in the near future and stumbled upon your detailed youtube videos and subscribed immediately. Your classes are exactly what I was needing. I have a question about set up to devices. I normally use a Mac Air or my Mac Book Pro, however, all my designs are on a Windows 10 computer. Can I or should I set the machine up to both computers? Do I have to re-download and install it on each computer I want to use? I have cried and cried and cried some more. I cannot get my Cricut to do anything you said to do! It is is horrible. Hi Jennifer, I have followed the instructions but the maker keeps telling me it's not enough material even though I'm doing the test cut on the vinyl that came in the packet?
Allow the rollers to catch the material when you send it through. 😊🌻
All the vinyl sheets I have are 12" wide. The guides don't adjust on the machine to handle that size and it goes wonky into the machine even if I hold it tight. What can I do to use this vinyl? Is there nothing and I have to buy new? If so, what size does it have to be?
If the vinyl is smaller you'd use a mat. 😊🌻

My cricuit maker 3 won't go passed the Prepare for Cut stage. It's brand new but vinyl won't feed, it's not rolling. What do I do?

You may want to exit out and begin again. Don't adjust the size of the test cut on your canvas. 😊🌻
Hello. I just bought the cricut maker 3. I tested with the piece of smart vinyl that it came with but I found that the cut wasn't strong enough so when I tried to peel the vinyl the design came off. I tried changing the pressure to more but that still didn't work. I increased the pressure to 300 with no multiple cuts and it still didnt cut all the way through. Did you have this issue? I tried cut with 3x cuts and it worked but i don't think vinyl is supposed to require so much pressure ot multiple cuts. It's a brand new machine, so the blade has not been used before.
So it doesn't arrive with the set of those tools you put in the holder.. Wonderful. Internet convinced me that it does for the past couple of months. I literally placed my order yesterday 🤣 damn it

@@JenniferMaker I was able to figure it out. I had the wrong circuit selected. Apparently a lot of others had this problem. I kept YouTubing my error and stumbled on the right video. After countless hours, it was just a simple fix. But thank you so much for replying. You have gained a follower. I love how you explain things.

Yes, you can use smart vinyl with out a mat and all of the other vinyl and materials on a mat.

Hi Jennifer, thank you for taking the time to make this video. While following your steps I made it to the part where I was able to insert the Vinyl. Prior to inserting the vinyl I noticed my machine power button was flashing red and white. Are you able to help me fix this ?

Following instructions for IPads set up, however when I get to connect screen and push connect the select accessory pops up, I made sure that Bluetooth has found and connected to Maker-3365. Nothing shows up still in the Select Accessory pop up screen. I have tried repeatedly and nothing shows up here. What am I doing wrong.

Can I do this on a Chromebook laptop?
Design Space requires a Windows or Mac operating system. Chromebooks run Google's Chrome operating system, which is not compatible with Design Space. help.cricut.com/hc/en-us/articles/360009556033-System-Requirements-Design-Space
Do I need to use a sticky mat to use card stock for this machine, if so, I’m concerned about the sticky mat losing its stickiness?
You do need a clean and sticky mat for good cuts. It's easy to keep them clean with your scraper and by keeping them covered when not in use 😊🌻

That sounds like an internet connection. A usb is the most reliable connection. You got this and I'm sure you will love making things for your 4 year old daughter. 😊❤️

I finally got the cricut maker 3. I am newbie to anything but have always wanted to work with it. On the iPad to download why is the App Store application always coming up for me? Is that what I need to download my new machine on?

i have the cricut explore air 2 but wanting to get a maker.... I have design space already with lots of designs i use for my business... my question is do i have to download design space again... if so will i loose my saved work
No, you do not. You will just set up the new Cricut under your account that you have and when you go to Design Space you will just choose which machine you are cutting with.

I'm setting up my new cricut maker 3 and I get to the screen to test cut and it says to load fine point blade but UT seems to not detect it and it has an I with a circle around it..I've taken the blade out n back in and still nothing is happening..what can I do?

What a great video! Thank you. Wish I saw it yesterday before I spent 6 hrs trying to get my cricut to connect lol. My cricut will not connect to my chromebook. I guess I will have to use my phone. Although it is telling me I have to calibrate first n it says that I need a mat which I don't have because it does not come with one n it says I don't need one but it won't let me continue unless I calibrate it with a mat! Any ideas? I guess I will need to buy a mat?🤔
You will need a mat. Only smart vinyl can be used without a mat.

Yes you can cut up to 3mm with the knife blade 💗
my first cut was a disaster it would not come off right when i tried to peal it away lol Is there a learning curve on how to weed smart vinyl i think it was oparator error on my part for the weeding i better try another cut lol
Different types of vinyl have different levels of difficulty to weed. Iron-on vinyl is the easiest but having a clean cut is the most important for easier weeding. Here is a reverse weeding technique. jennifermaker.com/reverse-weed-vinyl/
Is it better to use a computer over an iPad?

Hi Jennifer. Love all your videos! I am struggling a bit with my setup. I am using Windows. Everything is fine up to the point where you proceed with setup and it shows "updating" with the little bar running at the bottom. With mine, a bar appears and then almost instantly disappears...I re-started the setup and it did the same thing 😞Any advice?
You should be ablate restart the whole process.
