I have two Rural England roses. As I write this, in Kent, on the 11th December '24 they are still flowering. They are healthy and repeat very well. I have a Ghislaine de Feligonde too. Great rose. I have two Phylis Bide roses too. Quite young so still establishing. I love them all and all the other roses I have too. Two more roses those that I have and love and flower continuosly are Blush Noisette and Mme Alfred Carriere. Lovely roses.
Pauls Hymalian Musk rose is across my garden width.Over trellis with gazebo and trellis other side .170 feet . If she finds the way good nothing stops her. Must grow clematis too hoping not to crowd her ,
We strim the long grass areas just once a year starting at the end of June with the last areas done in June. We leave the clippings to break down naturally and do not discourage the wild flowers
@@GreenIslandGardensVideos Thanks for the reply, we have similar planting but on a much smaller scale, obviously, but ours has been over taken with brambles which I need to try to get on top of without damaging the grasses and ferns underneath.
❤❤❤ from France
Hi there! A rambler needs a lot of space, so unless you have a large tree to put one up these probably aren't the best choice for a small garden. However if you do have a large tree, our top pick would be Paul's Himalayan Musk 💚💚

That was really helpful
Kudos to that man digging a hole in drought conditions! Looks like my soil in my garden…concrete! 😂

It’s that just from one plant?
Love your videos! How do you manage your rough grass areas under and around your trees and shrubs?

If you have to cut back hard a rose it is wrong rose for the spot.
We let our roses grow up into the trees freely so we do not have this problem
