Amazing Wyoming: Visiting a Wyoming Ghost Town

Not far from where I live is the authentic Wyoming ghost town of Piedmont. I've visited the area often, taking visitors who are interested in our area. The history of the town is haunting. (That's a play on the designation "ghost town." Did you catch that?)
Wyoming has a formidable climate, and nowhere is that more evident than in a visit to Piedmont.

Whoa, what about those double yellow lines in the road? :-) LOVED that old footage of the rail-laying machine. To think you can drive on the old bed of the Transcontinental RR!!! WOW! and the kilns!!!

Yeah, it is a fun place to visit. The land is really desolate (very high plains, over 6,000 ft.), and it would have been quite a hard life back in the day.

Excellent video. I didn’t wanna on Piedmont last summer. I admit your narration is better than mine. Which may explain why I only have 30 views and you have well over 1000. It is encouraging to know that, a significant number of people are interested in Wyoming ghost towns.
