I loved the video! I watched it with my kids when we were passing through Panguitch yesterday. This is the kind of content that we look for to educate our kids on local history. Subscribed. Please keep these coming.

Your videos are always so interesting for showing us a little of what life is like in "ordinary" parts of the US. Thank you

    Good Morning from Spain!!
Just goes to show you that there is history all around us. Very enjoyable to watch
I always enjoy reading the introductions to your weekly excel tips spreadsheet, its how I found your channel.
Very interesting to see the quilts and hear you relate the story. By strange coincidence this last week through the wonders of the interent we have been in touch again with our cousins in the USA, my late fathers sister, my aunt moved there in the sixties. The last time I was in touch with my Aunt was when we got married and she gifted us an embroidered quilt, this far too long ago. She would have embroidered this in connecticut though!!
I hope all is well with you I know this last year has been very difficult
    All the best

Thanks, David. It is always interesting to hear the stories that connect each of us, even across the globe.

Thank you for this video on Panguich, Utah, Allen! Your videos on the places that you visit in your travels are always fascinating to watch for what you show in the video and for this history of the location that you add to give us.

Hey, this was a really delightful video. I'm going to try to spend some time in Panguitch next time I'm in Utah. I also really appreciated the info on the quilt walk. Must have been so slow, or perhaps they came up with some good ways to speed up the pace. Thanks!

Thanks, Jeff! It took them two weeks, walking on the quilts, to go the approximately 60-mile round-trip. And, since they were carrying supplies, the trip back from Parowan was slower than the trip to Parowan.

Well done, Allen. I enjoy U S history, and learning about history from out-of-the-way places. Thanxxxxxxxxxxxx for your time and effort.

Are you the same travel with Allen that puts together cruise packages?
