LOVE seeing the Innova in the background. My two favorite quilting tools --- your rulers and the Innova. I cannot quilt without either item. Thanks for these Tips & Tricks.

Thanks for the binding tips Deb. I especially like how you knot as you go. Also the thread pinned to the quilt is genius. I love watching and listening to you. Thanks and stay safe. 👍😷❤👍😷❤

Thanks for the good visual illustration. Great camera work. I am nowhere near doing a binding, but I have always had an affinity for handwork, so I think I will enjoy it. Great tip on making knots every so often. I have seen old quilts where great long areas of binding have become detached. With no attempt to mend, they become terribly distorted with continued use. Question: If entering a quilt in competition, should the folds within the miters be stitched closed? I may never need this info but, who knows, I may put something in the County Fair just to support the community. Plus, I like to be able to give good advice if anyone asks for help with their sewing. I actually have a project in the works where I'm trying to figure out how to bring the backing up and around to the top for a self-binding BUT ... this is the stickler ... for extra durability, I want the edge of the quilt to be covered with two layers of the fabric as it comes up and over. The difficulty is figuring out how to reduce the bulk at the corner folds. Leave it to me to creat a major drafting challenge on one of my first projects!

Really don't enjoy hand sewing. Do you plan on doing a video on machine sewn binding?

At this time I was not because it is a method that I do not use and have no experience with.
