This is the best on point block setting I've seen!! Thank you, bunches, for the great instructions and the freezer paper option!! Isn't freezer paper the best invention next to paper towels???!!!😂❤

Who knew, freezer paper! Love this "hack" for using up scrapes. Setting blocks on point is one of my favorite ways to add interest to a quilt!

Thank you so much for your willingness to share your knowledge and expertise with us. That is a great tip for being “scrappy” with the side triangles! I use your rulers and tips almost every day in my sewing room. Also, makes me feel better to see someone else has “lots of stash”!! Quilting brings me such joy!

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’ve always wondered how to set on point - I’m dyslexic and just couldn’t wrap my brain around it. Wound up “shelving” the idea.
I appreciate the explanation - and I’ll be tuning in again to watch you 😊 for you next videos to learn more. Thank you

I just finished a quilt top with blocks on point. I didn't have the formula, but I used a ruler designed for figuring out what size to cut my triangles. I did cut them a bit bigger and it worked out fine. I love how you matched your outfit to the colors on your model quilt. And I can't help but keep looking at your fabric stash behind you (with envy of course). Hopefully you will talk about that one day. I have been loving all your videos. Keep them coming.

Great exposition to demystify this method by clear presentation of fundamentals. I keep these on my board so I can reference easily, Thanks to Deb and Pythagoras (1.414 is the square root of 2 which is the diagonal measurement calc for all right triangles)

Wish I had seen the paper template part last night while I was trying to fussy cut corner triangles. I got there, but this would have been so much simpler. Thanks for all the videos. A faithful follower.

Thank you so much!! I was trying to make a table runner from my own head that consisted of making blocks on point. I eventually put all of my fabric away because I just couldn't quite figure it out! You just gave me hope that I can finish it!! Thanks again for the Tips and Tricks videos! I have several of your rulers and enjoy them!
