  • In this video I quickly go over my experience with this ranger over the last 3 years. Aluminum bass boats are getting more and more popular and this boat has had a few issues but over all it has been great.

You said the rod locker got wet? How do all the compartments hold up in the rain? Is there room for 4 batts in the back if you want to have a 36volt tm?

No room for 4 batteries only 3. The rod locker got wet because of my boat cover ripping in the rain. I leave all the lids cracked open when storing to prevent moisture build up and let everything dry. The rain got in the locker because it was open

What is your honest review? Dislikes? I’ve been wanting to purchase one for the longest but been holding back any regrets?

No regrets, I fish a lake with 2-3 foot rollers often and it handles it no problem. I like all the layouts and I like the fact that I start the motor no problem every time. I bought new mainly for the reliability of the motor. The only things I was pissed off about was the hole I put in the side of the boat, I was trolling around docks and hit a piece of angle iron underwater, but it was a sharp piece of metal. The other thing that pissed me off was the trolling motor. As for the boat it’s self over all it has been great. I wish there was some sort of gel coat or stronger paint because the paint on these things scratches very easily. But overall I would buy one. You always have the support and the name behind the Ranger brand. And they have worked out all of the kinks in the recent years on the aluminum boats.

I’ve heard about the paint flaking and the quality was gone down but I’m still in the market for one….I hunt and fish and thanks for the feedback
