- Composite Yachts CY 55 goes 55 knots and is said to be one of the fastest yachts in her class. Today we walk the CY55 with Rob and when he opened up her engine room we quickly got a crowd. My name is Alfred Montaner host of the Chit Show in Miami.

@@582motorsports8 To be honest my knowledge of boat engineering & ownership is very limited. That’s the first I’ve seen of this class. I watch leisure & fishing boat vids for dream purposes. 😂. Escapism if you like.

I've seen the boat doing its launch photo shoot this spring on the Choptank River in Maryland. It is a stunning boat to see on the move. Built by the hard-working folks on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Glad to see some Talbot County love on your Channel. The owner and the entire yard where they work are very humble people. Their new shops are amazing and the fit and finish of these boats are top notch. I can’t wait to see what they cook up this winter!

I’m born and raised in Middle River Md right off the Chesapeake bay and there’s nothing like steamed crabs from Md !!! That’s a awesome boat Alfred I love the sound of the Diesel engines!!!!
You should visit New Zealand where the high speed Hamilton jet drives were invented in order to navigate the South Island's rivers often very shallow and often very fast flowing depending on the time of year and the melt of glacial snows and ice.
There are thrill boats for the tourists but there are also big boats like the huge alloy commercial lobster boats bigger than the one in this show that daily fish remote areas and must return to shore by blasting through shallow water at full speed, swinging and sliding to avoid rocks, sandbars and other obstructions to finally slam up a boat trailer towed by a big tractor or bulldozer. It is a very impressive ride! A little scary but very memorable. Skill, speed and power!

Very innovative cutting edge stuff, the jet boats are bloody awesome paricuarly the 10 footers. They are right up there with us aussie builders 😁😆. Lol.

@@dwightbernhimer6734 I'm only 34 but I guess I'm just old-fashioned because I love the nice clean look of an inboard powered boat with a nice clean transom and classic lines like this boat!
Marine diesels are so Superior in every conceivable way compared to a bunch of outboards that are just hung on a transom almost as an afterthought.
@@lustfulvengance Maybe by the time you're almost 80... Outboard manufacturers might have their s*** together LOL thanks again... I'm in Arizona... I'm going back in the pool at 4:00 p.m.
I guess they need 6 outboards so when 3 break down the other 3 can get you back to the dock😆

An amazing look at the future of motor yachts. I'm excited to see the first of these sporting traditional Chesapeake Bay boat silhouette. Common long tail design. A great build leaving me sad I'm too poor to even afford the insurance. LOL
I really like the planting machine, especially when it is equipped with an anti-rolling gyro or a stable seakeeper, so that it provides its own comfort which is not seen from the shape of the ship but also its safety and comfort. salute.
I want one ! This a very very cool boat , a bay boat that can also get out to the off shore for a day of fishing. I loved the “ tackle room” that was so nice . If I win the lottery this weekend I’m buying one!

Chesapeake Bay style fishing boats are beautiful. Fished on many in the past on the bay. You should check out the docking competition they have it's amazing how they drive/dock these boats.

Another reminder that the rocket ships aren't that far off . Maybe the next generation . Got'ta do the best we can with the old Lear jet and the yacht we have now . Might want to go ahead and buy land near the space port or somewhere in Mississippi where the neighbors are nice and don't complain everytime Granny cuts a fart .
