Karen was talent at it's best... No matter how ill,she could always go into the recording studio and do it in 1 take every time. She paved the way for so much,and for that we will always remember.
What I find interesting about some of the performances from this concert is the listener can feel the power in her voice although one doesn't necessarily think of that aspect when reflecting on Karen's voice. Usually the words like beautiful, emotional, smooth and crystalline come to mind.
An absolutely tragic loss not only to the music world but to all that loved her. Think twice before criticizing some one for their weight or any part of their appearance. Thoughtless comments bring pain, misery and sometimes death.
The Carpenters recorded so many great songs but I think that this song is my favorite by them. This song like most of there other songs have aged very well.
