Awesome video, I'd like to recommend using some of your carbonfiber and reinforce around the transom where that rudder is mounted, the length of that rudder will put all kinds of crazy forces on the transom in a hard crash. I'd also trim the length of the rudder blade. Less resistance in the water. The upgrades you've done looks super clean good work. Edit, just finished the vid, you mentioned cutting the rudder lol. 56 let's go!
3 blade props are Amp killers 😂 I mean you get more grunt off the line , but you suffer top end speed ! I try to avoid using them ! 😂 just my 2 cents 😎👍
You can’t expect to get good speed driving around wasting batteries in rough water and hitting full throttle for a split second. If you are hitting full speed in that short of a pull your prop is way too small.
@@H2oMechanic2RC I have a 33” deltaforce running 1750 kv all be it an outrunner but she’s on 6S flycolor150 running an octura m447 so it’s a detongued 4714 prop I get 101 kmh and great runtime on a 5000 mah 100 c hrb cheapy lipo. It would go quicker but it chine walks too much to prop up any more and the flycolor is close to it limit I think.

After the crash I had thought the same thing about spreading out the load on the rudder. I was happy it was holding strong after the crash.

100% agree. But starting small & working up to the right prop is the goal. Next trip out I'll grab my bigger ABC props
