Big B had a similar looking issue with one of his boats making unpredictable sharp turns when he got onto the throttle hard. His issue turned out to be the esc's BEC was wielding out under load. Out of the water everything looked smooth and stable, once he got the boat in the water and unde r load, it would make sudden turns. I believe he had to swap in battery pack just for the esc to solve the issue, until he changed the esc out for one with a stronger BEC. Might be worth checking just holding the boat in the water and seeing if the steering servo starts glitching under heavy load.
2 out of 3 runs I forgot to put drain plug in since then I added some saddle tape to seal the hatch so I don't need to use drain plug same deal only has a short time to run and rushed to the pond. Great looking boats peace n rooster tails.
i agree about the trim tabs and maybe off set them a tiny but to correct the prop lean. lookes like a great build but she has at least 60mph in her fosho
Going to a 1 7/8 to 2 in long tabs would help a lot. What I can see when you nail the throttle the nose comes out of the water then torque roll to the left and nose dig. Then next run drop a Abc 1814 prop and send it
11:49 on my impulse they offset the strut to the right vs in the center maybe that's why. When I first bought and noticed thought that's weird but it's a great performing boat. So maybe try on a future build. Peace
Are you running the receiver that came with your X9S? Have you tried to use another one? I can’t seem to get the spare receiver I bought to “upgrade” the firmware and retain it after turning off the receiver.
I believe your using a 9 channel receiver in the boat. I have the 9xs also but cannot get the gps to work. I have put it in ch4 and that's all I know about it. What am i doing wrong. Also have you tried the 4ch with the gps. I was worried with the 4ch because the antenna is super short but I range tested it with the transmitter antenna down and it did great. Just need some info. Thanks
@jimstone5339 the GPS only works with the 9 channel receiver, it has a telemetry port for battery voltage and then a gps port beside it. Wfly needs to offer X9S receivers, as of now they only sell x9 receivers.
This whole mess you but when we were racing a few years ago we found that we would heat or battery packs to 110 degrees before going out on the water that was the point where we got optimal performance and we tried to keep them below 140 after a run
@billmalvey4746 yea, speed runs i set my lipo bag under the hood of my truck in a empty battery trey, it warms them up on the short ride to the pond. Not much, but more the 75⁰f

I haven’t had any luck. I’ve been in contact with Wfly and they’ve been helpful. They just need to release the receivers updated and ready to go.

I put zip ties on my lines but not to tight get them snug and that won't happen again...✌✌😉😉🙏🙏🚤🚤👍👍
