Vanessa has a good sense of humor! She’s also beautiful and successful. I can see why Nick found her attractive. Its great to hear a married couple w kids who really exude love. Nick and Jessica were very young and of course Nick had a different mindset at that time. U can tell Nick has matured and he really loves his family.
Vanessa isn’t even being honest. She had a huge crush on Nick way before that video shoot. Look back on their TRL interviews, she friggen lusted over Nick and it was so apparent.

I mean yeah OBVIOUSLY none of us viewing from the outside truly knows them and what their life together is like DUH but body language does say a lot. It’s actually been proven that body language can speak volumes about someone’s feelings toward a person, thing or situation. He does not seem into her at all whereas she is all over him and bases her entire identity on being “Mrs. Lachey”. Even if he is a passive person he was always touchy feely and visibly in love with Jessica (I mean just look at their chemistry HELLOOO). With Vanessa he looks bored and disinterested. She was a rebound. But she gave him a family so at least he’s got that.

@@eglallergy yeah it was obvious they were over each other - that last season was hard to watch but now its easier because of time and also seeing that they truly should not have gotten married. Jessica was into the fairytale, not the real deal. She said she made a big deal about virginity which I always thought was bizarre, in fact society in general makes too much of a deal of it at times. She basically said the emotional connection was missing with him after she had sex which is funny because they always seemed so in love, but I guess she was more in love with the fairytale of it all and not Nick necessarily.

So glad for Nick. Hate to bring up the past but I remember his split from Jessica Simpson and how much pain he went through with it. I remember Nick saying how he called his Dad in tears to give him the bad news about Jessica filing for divorce. So glad he found love again. HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
