There are many imbalances that are pretty bad.
A champion that gets too strong and unkillable I kinda consider an imbalance.

So I don't think I will live to the day where Camille becomes a B Tier champ. Sword ladies just stay meta and riot ensured that. Irelia was weak? Don't worry mini rework. Bam oneshotting dishdash again.

Op skillcapped champs make people climb bcs no one knows how to play against, so they don't get punished when they should. Then dude reaches a certain elo without even knowing fundamentals and become hardstuck forever

I've played Poppy for so long and I now have 2.1 million points I've known and learned small and big differences in every match-up. What to build, what to do, how to fight and win in a easier manner even if I'm counter-picked. The only thing that can make me lose is if I got outclassed by a better player.
As a fledgling poppy (mostly jg) player I've been going turbochemtank and predator, is that too much speed or troll or is there a better setup?

As someone who climbs by playing a fairly large pool of champions that changes a lot every year, I think there's a lot of merit to what champion you pick to climb. It's just it shouldn't be based on what's "OP," or at least not solely on that. If you don't understand how a champion works or they don't mesh well with your playstyle, they generally aren't OP and easy enough to be worth playing. But tailoring your pick to the match, between the champions you know you're good at, helps a lot. And more importantly, if you take the time to learn the ins and outs of a champion who is OP, they are still OP especially when some of them are also really easy to learn. Actually your video kind of proves this; it's about how these Camille players are playing terribly and making countless mistakes that should lose them the game, and yet they all end up winning their early lane anyway because their champion is just stronger. If you put two cardboard elo apes in front of each other and one's playing Camille, they will probably win lane even if they are utterly awful at her and do everything wrong.
i climbed from my small support champ pool when senna got buffed ( my main at that time ) and i got like 17 wins out of 20 games and climbed from gold 2 0 lp to platinum 4 easely in the span of 3-4 games . now im kinda stuck on plat and i cant realy play in it
Sure. But lane sadly isn’t everything in low elo. There’s a million chances to throw the lead away even minutes later. Even during the lane sometimes. An OP champion may supplement for certain fundamentals, but not enough to affect your win rate in any significant way. You still need a large amount of fundamentals behind them to do well. Which is why one-tricking easy champs that teach good fundamentals will always accelerate improvement faster than meta chasing.
@@zat1245 It definitely is enough to affect your winrate in a significant way though, depending on the specific champion you're playing. If you win lane almost every game just because you play Camille (like the players featured in this video who do everything wrong and still win lane), you are innately more likely to win the game since your team will have +1 strong player and the enemy team will have +1 weak player. If you are bad at Camille but you're in bronze and playing against people who are also bad at their champs, then yeah, you're probably going to win a lot just because your champ is better. You might even get to silver just because you decided to pick up Camille. And god forbid you play something that's easier than her and still strong (like Darius at the moment after some indirect buffs), you might just boost yourself from bronze to gold.
Of course I don't think this is true for every OP champion. Some of them are also really hard to play even at a skillfloor level or have gimmicky purposes that just aren't as generally useful, so you won't be able to benefit from the strong aspects of their kit unless you're actually good at them. Camille just isn't one of those. She might have a high skillcap but her skillfloor is low enough that you'll probably climb at least a bit if you play her against bad players, even if you suck at her. That kind of thing is how players get boosted above where they should be, then get hardstuck at gold 4 when they meet players who kind of understand how to deal with their champ.
The main point this video was TRYING to make isn't that "op champs are bad in low elo," but rather, that if you're better than the person you're playing against, their champ being OP shouldn't matter much. If you're equal skill to them then it matters a LOT whose champ is stronger. Skillcapped just wants people to know that hard work and practice will help you climb more than playing a low elo stomper will, but... still, playing a low elo stomper does help.

Gonna practice camille now I've been losing so many games as a support even though me and my adc wins the lane but our mid top or jungle just sucks in Gold
In my experience being an OTP is the way to go if you want to rank up. I tried to "Play for the team" and pick whatever we needed or play the OP Meta champs. And that's exactly why I was hardstuck gold all these years.
This season, I set out to pick 3 champs of my liking, in 3 different lanes, and OTP them at least to Platinum.
I've made it on Top with Yone and Kayle, in jungle with Kha and Kayn, and on bot with Vayne and Kai'Sa
And it took me roughly 200 games to get there on all 3 combined.
It's honestly my best achievement in league so far, I could've probably made it to dia+ if i put the time and effort. But this season my goal was to do the Tyler1 challange and make it to plat on at least 2 different lane. I only did jungle because that's the role that griefed me the most while doing my ADC climb

he got a recent buff on his w cooldown and gore got nerfed so other champs are worse
@@forceless9956 every champion that could beat darius early level,can still do it even without items. i main sett and volibear and i destroy darius players everytime, and those champs are decent matchups for darius. even with the buffs, he still has big mobility problems and he can be countered easy. instead of him rushing me down, its the oposite

I’m also a sett main with 200k mastery and Darius is not an easy matchup as long as they are good. Bc the cool down is so low for dar w u can use it 2-3 times per fight and easily run down a sett cuz sett has no escape other than flash or ult flash away
@@forceless9956 with sett you literally take ignite, W lv 1 and kill him, usualy works for me. if he dosent run you down lv 1, you take e-w lv 2 and kill him if he ever tries to trade. just play inside his wave and its easy. also i play in d3 elo
@@stormdragon2529 fair point but if they take ignite as well and u fight in their wave, u lose that fight lvl 1,2 and 3 assuming they don’t miss everything. U shouldn’t underestimate minion damage even if it means hitting e-stun. Also, if they start q it’s easy for them to get the push advantage and go for outplays inside of their wave. I’m not saying it’s a good matchup but dar is a better top laner than sett after the nerfs. Also with this new lethal temp, dar gonna hit 5 stacks in like 1 second so idk how balanced that’s going to be considering his massive buff at 5 stacks

It's not the OP champs you need to learn how to play. It's the Macro game of league that you need to master.

Better kits for certain things. Camille can one shot ziggs by jumping on him and boom. Ziggs can poke teams to death. Always depends on the player

Yo I have seen a lot of games on how to win lane from you, but thing that is consistently happening to me is that I literally demolish my opponent on lane often taking inhib tower by 15 min and then I just can't end it. We don't win team fights and end up losing the game despite insane gold advantage at some point. It is not even like I am letting opponents catch me in the open and throw the lead. I simply am not strong enough to dive under nexus towers on my own and after grouping with the team we keep losing team fights or at least coinflip them if I wait some of the opponents catch up with me at some point or even outscale me (playing kled most of the time). Most of the games I do win after stomp is because enemy surrs assuming they are so behind they won't win anyway or because they tilt and make some really stupid decision like trying to 2v1/3v1 me when they don't need to try. Just keep 1-2 ppl defending and I can't do much.
Here are my thoughts on this. Please don't take this as me telling you exactly what to do every game, I'm just trying to help by throwing out some ideas that you can adapt to your playstyle and situations in your games:
1. Don't take inhib towers or inhibitors that early into the game! It destroys the wave bounceback effect when you do that, thus giving your opponents constant free farm inside their base and leaving you with 0 farm available top and they start slowly but surely catching back up to you with gold.
Think about it: when there's an enemy tower there, you can push the wave in, the tower kills it while enemy minions build up and then there are more enemy minions than your minions and the wave pushes to you. Then you can just come back top and clear the wave yourself and get all that money. This cannot happen if you have super minions since they are so much stronger and will just constantly kill the enemy minions, leaving you with no gold.
2. If you are destroying your top lane so hard, nothing is stopping you from taking their top side jungle camps whenever they are available. If the enemy jungler catches you he will just run or you can kill him and then back off. This way you deny their jungler half of their farm and make them almost completely useless.
3. Solo rift herald and drop it mid to get more plates and money for both you and your mid laner. Also you're playing kled, so go use your ult on mid lane and surprise gank the enemy midlaner. This gives more money to both you and your midlaner, thus allowing you to relax a bit and not solo carry since you have a fed midlane too.
4. If you're running teleport: have your botlane or jungler ward near dragon, then push in top all the way and when enemies are forced to defend tp to drake and help your team get it for free. You can also help them push bot a little, since you're already there (more plates and more gold for your team).
5. Think of something else every game. Just look at the map and see what you can realistically take with no punishment from the enemy team. If you're winning lane so hard that you're at the enemy inhib tower at 15 mins, you can literally control the entire map yourself and win by 25 mins every single game.
Hope this helps and I gave you some decent ideas to use in your next game
@@petar1401 I knew about the inhib thing but only now that u say it I realise how much taking even inhib tower influences bounce effect as well. Was implementing the rest of this stuff, but I also didn't consider droping herald on mid instead of top to push harder (which isn't necessary since I don't wanna take inhib tower). I don't get this video. It's literally all wrong. OP Champs are OP because even if you play it completely wrong you still get the advantage. In all 3 of these clips the idea is that the Camille could have played better but didn't. If she got punished for these mistakes then the title would make sense. Camille gets punished, loses lane, is thought of as bad even though she is OP. However, in all 3 clips even though she played it wrong, she still won lane in the end. How in the world does this show that Camille is bad in low elo? It shows the polar opposite of that.
OP camps are MORE OP in low elo than high elo cuz in low elo no one knows how to counter them. If this Camille were to hop on any other champ or a bad matchup she would most likely get bodied cuz she is being carried by Camille. That is the definition of OP.
I think the point of the video is that they're not as strong as they should be.

The thing is when you climb with these plays you will reach to a point you can't climb any more with these plays... Actually if the players were good at these clips they would have kicked camille but its low elo nobody has good knowledge of the gameplay

For the aspiring super coaches out there that can solve anything -
Actual game from today - I gank top after blue level 2 coz enemy top picked gangplank and I have personal issues against gangplank players, gave top kill coz I need him to be annoying topside. I go straight to mid and for some reason the enemy mid xerath kinda followed me around the river missing skillshots for so long that he was 2 levels behind our yasuo. Cool. Time to buy.
I respawn and go to enemy blue coz I know kayns blue spawned just now and my yas is 2 levels up whilst bot also pushed up AND way healthier, he flashes away with less than 200 hp, I follow because hes walking right toward my yasuo that is level 5 and his over half dead xerath level 3 who spent way too long out of his lane, I ping it just incase.
Yasuo muted all at the start of the game (I assume, cant see why else this happened) he watches as xerath comes to me and kayn - ok ill back off, yas clearly not helping, will have to flee to bot side or limit test dodging xerath e, I go botside coz my bot lane just got back and theirs overstayed + bot is pushed near the enemy tower.
-my full hp bot lane stays to clear the wave b4 coming (basic non cannon wave sitting under enemy tower)
I am now sandwiched between a near dead kayn, near dead 2 levels behind xerath and the bot laners that hadnt backed.
I wish this was an anomaly. These arent huge brain plays that u need 9000 iq to understand... these are basic common sense things (still today! Diff game) oh... 3 of you are farming our topside whilst sup clears mid. "they gonna send 3 or so after me, yall are in perfect position for free baron"

Nope, pre-rework poppy vs zed is the hardest matchup. There’s no chance for zed from level 1-18.
W on level 1 and start auto zed when ever you could. E on level 2 , zone zed away, there’s no way for zed get any cs except his q w combo. The only things to remember is to freeze the line.

This is the perfect example of being bad at the game. I remember when i first started the game in season 2-3 when janna was OP and id dominate midlane with ap janna because of how OP she was, even against zed, talon or kassadin who used to dominate back then
Sometimes she is op yeah, but there is ton of matchups when its hard to win because she can't use e, for example Mundo, he just farms from a far and wins any trade with you because you can't stun him or even kite, fiora cancels her ult and e, jace is almost a full counterpick (mostly in high elo though), jax who just does not allow her to do short trades and use her e because else he stuns her and obliterates. Good thing though she wins matchups agaist ranged. im a newbie camille player so correct me if im wrong
Add to that pool mordekaiser and renekton. Also trynda and kentch and teemo. Also kayle and nasus scale better than camille. Also irelia players can all in way more agressively and efficiently.
Skill capped videos can be full of shit sometimes. Very controversial. For example, most pro Camille player won't use E to engage before hitting 11lvl at all. Because it is escape tool, not and engage tool.
And being safe is the only thing Camille good at. Throwing your E just to harass is iron4 mechanics.
Camille players in this video played bad, but skill capped has given also bad advices.

I love being fed mage/adc and then 0/7 Camille flies from 2 screens away and kill me in 2s during her ult
Play a mage or ADC who can deal with shit like that by default, because you basically have to in low elo. You can't expect your team to protect you from a Camille like they should, so you NEED to play something that can let you escape or fight her on your own. Battle mages (like Ryze, Swain) and assassin ADCs (Vayne, Akshan) stand a way better chance against her than standard artillery picks like Xerath or Jinx. If you play something immobile and squishy with no finesse in their kit, you can't fight Camille even if you're fed, and the only way to protect yourself is to have REALLY good positioning (and hope she won't int to kill you). If you're something like Vayne on the other hand and you've won your lane, you should body the Camille and have no one to blame but yourself if you die.

She can do shit against stuff like Syndra, Annie, Akshan, Veigar, Akshan, Qiyana, Zed, Irelia (if u are good on her you should outsnowball any Camille as Irelia mid), Xayah, Aphelios, Lucian, Jhin, etc. I was just like him getting shat on by any half decent Darius and Jax player as they counters almost my all champ pool but then then I realised that I can keep whining or do something about. Now I smile when I see Darius as I lock Jayce. A fucking master YI is broken in low elo as well despite being really meh in any decent elo because people down bellow rather complain how unskilled or broken he is and keep drafting team comps that are free for Yi instead of something that either punishes him or at least makes it hard for him to get fed. Change starts with you, you can't expect someone else doing everything for you. If I was low elo I'd reconsider playing your beloved Lux, Neeko, Soraka or whatever and would go something that can either deal with him or assist your team dealing with him and not fed him (Syndra, LeBlanc, Pantheon, Leona, Lulu, etc.).

Easier champs that aren't "op" have higher winrate than the "op" champs that everyone plays in high elo. Camille has 51% wr in gold while Teemo has 52.5% wr, Garen has 52.85% wr, Nasus has 53.69% wr. All of these are in gold.

I'm only 1 minute in and yeah, no, I'm not gonna EVER play ranked. You have to pay attention to such small details when I just want to hop in, play a match or three, then quit and do something else.

This whole video makes no sense. Telling us op Champs are bad in low elo while proceeding to show multiple situations, where these bad players get saved by their op pick, on different champs they would have inted the lane there. Of course op champs help them climb, they probably wouldn't even get where they are when they played B Tier champs, they don't have the lane macro anyway. Good examples are Darius players here in euw west. Even in high Plat not even a single Dar ever freezes on me (as a singed u cannot walk up ever). Still u find those shitty macro guys up to low diamond. It needed to be a masters elo Darius that froze on me the first time ever.

honestly, i don't think that showing 3 random games proves anything. especially because their enemies played just as bad, as it was said. also the players with op champs played bad and ended up better because, *as it was said* camille's E is op.
also, how did you manage to find a camille that doesn't reset her auto with Q. who plays like that XD even my bronze friend uses it, and he plays her like once a month.

I remember playing league of legends when it first came out so many years ago, all I did was pick Garen, spin to win, or take Fiddlesticks and would spam life drain and people wouldn't run away and just die lmao. Gone are the good days of league.
