Vagabond, Parasyte, Uzumaki, Vinland Saga. Damn. Uncle E really jumped straight into the deep end of some legendary series that aren't even talked about too much.
JoJo's is a weird case, because it's been around for so long. The first part is a bit rough, because it's pretty much just an extremely basic archetypal hero's journey, but as the series goes on, it gets way better. It sucks to say that a series requires time investment for it to become good, but JoJo's get's really good as you go, and the art becomes fantastic in the later parts.
I agree with most of this statement but in part 7 almost all the time Johnny is drawn in the background it’s pretty bad. But Johnny’s character designs is kinda complicated so I understand why.

Akira is actually a really weird case in how it was released. The first two were released before the movie, the middle two were released during the movie cycle and the last two after the movie came out. And I do recommend that you keep going with One Piece, at least until Arlong Park is over. That Arc ends on the first chapter on volume 11 (chapter 100). Which yes, 11 volumes is a lot to ask if you don't really have that much of an interest now but it's a really good read!

My boyfriend and I combined our collections when we moved in together, it is amazing. Our bedroom is just surrounded by bookcases full. I'm just glad that although he's a big fan of one piece, berserk, jojos and all of those, he's also a fan of the cute shojo series and has some really adorable titles he's introduced me too. 😍 It's nice to be with someone who understands the joy (and finances...) of collecting this and completing series. 😊
As a big horror fan, i thought Uzumaki was an absolute masterpiece! Im currently reading Tomie which was actually his first manga book he produced, and you can really see the differences in art and writing style, its really cool :) thank you E for the awesome vid and manga sugestions haha ^_^
One Piece is at first kind of, as you said, ok but nothing special; I believe no one thought that it was the great manga that has become when they started reading it, but it gets better and better until a point where it plays on another league. Give it a try in a future if you can, it really is worth the time (at least that is my most humble opinion). Fist of the North Star is finally getting an official english manga release that will actually be the full run. Pre orders for the first volume are available on amazon. I highly recommend the series as it inspired a ton of later manga
JoJo part one is by far the hardest part to get through, although it is the shortest, which is pretty ironic. There's not really a problem with it, but it's quite basic since it was supposed to be kind of a parody of Fist of the North Star. The rest of the series keeps the same goofiness, but it's characters get really good the farther you go. Once you make it to part 2 that's most likely where you'll get invested. The characters, story, and stands are what make the show and manga so popular. Because you get to see things intertwine through part 1, 3, and 6 which eventually lead to part 7 and 8. Part 2, 4, and 5 serve as fun little breaks throughout the story, but part 4 and 5 still manage to be my favorite among the series so far.
I'm so hyped to watch another manga video! I like these out of character down to Earth videos when they show up on the channel. Got some errands to run but I will definitely be watching this before my afternoon nap

The craziest part about Reading beserk is that, after youve Read the later chapters, the earlier chapters start to look bad, even though they actually have great artwork, its just that Miura’s artwork develops so much, that by the end, each and every panel belongs in a museum….

Honestly I would wait until One Piece is finished. It’s an emotional ride. I’ve been into it since 2010, and it’s been out since 1999. It’s definitely a good story, but the author gives detail to EVERYTHING. Story arcs can seem drawn out. It’s definitely binge worthy.
good point. i caught up in wano after catching up to the manga & weekly (often bi-weekly or longer) feels so long So grateful to Oda for putting me on to manga, I used to see it occasionally & hear about it & just thought "why would i look at static monochrome pictures when i can just watch" Manga is a magic of it's own, & you can never be spoiled if you're up to date
While I haven't read One Piece I recently watched TotallyNotMark's series who has been reading the mange-despite it's length it starts off fairly simple but evolves into something that's just astronomical in writing with both Manga/Animes and the way Araki manages to make the characters from weak to strong relevant throughout the massive story he's made!
'Manga compatriot' is a nice concept. No matter what you're reading, there's plenty of others out there thrilled to know you're enjoying their favorite manga.
Please do a more in-depth video on your thoughts about Attack on Titan's story & the others like A Silent Voice & Death Note for example. I love these videos!

@@schumerus6786 I'm not referring to the hiatus although some people do call him lazy for doing so, what I'm talking about is the people who also blame him for some of the art being slightly poor quality on certain pages even though it's clear the reason was that he wanted to release as many chapters as possible while he was sick, which I think is so heartbreaking, since I'm sure he must've been worried something would happen to him before he got time to finish his already existing arcs, and people are out here trying to run his name through the mud after all the wonderful material he's written over the years. it's just sad
I think you'll love one punch man, cause it pokes fun at all the superhero stuff and action shows, while having a great story about a guy who gets to deal with the mental struggles of already being at the top so now what. One Piece takes a while to get great but once it does you won’t regret reading it. But if you don’t want to read it because it’s hard to get into that is perfectly ok.

i highly recommend the Monogatari Series and also Welcome to the N.H.K both are funny and have great stories although they differ greatly. the monogatari series has its fair share of serious moments which are great. (its hard to describe lol just read/watch it)

The one you should really continue reading further here is punpun. You may have not fallen in love with the first volume because it's pretty "mild" compared to the next ones but as it goes on the main character grows up into an adult and it becomes like a hardcore more relatable and least rock star oriented version of the wall eventually. I dont know how inio did this but anything that happenez with the main character is somehow as close to reality as physically possible. It's probably the most mature realistic mainstream manga out there. I would suggest getting the 7 volume variant of it because there's also a 13 volume one where volumes are thinner but cost a bit more in total.

Manga is a magic of it's own, & you can never be spoiled if you're up to date
While I haven't read One Piece I recently watched TotallyNotMark's series who has been reading the mange-despite it's length it starts off fairly simple but evolves into something that's just astronomical in writing with both Manga/Animes and the way Araki manages to make the characters from weak to strong relevant throughout the massive story he's made!
I can agree about "A Silent Voice" it's a great movie and mangas ❤

'Manga compatriot' is a nice concept. No matter what you're reading, there's plenty of others out there thrilled to know you're enjoying their favorite manga.
Please do a more in-depth video on your thoughts about Attack on Titan's story & the others like A Silent Voice & Death Note for example. I love these videos!

It’s more a meme then reality, most people respect that he needs time. It’s just that he didn’t release for so long that a lot of people feel like it will never finish
@@schumerus6786 I'm not referring to the hiatus although some people do call him lazy for doing so, what I'm talking about is the people who also blame him for some of the art being slightly poor quality on certain pages even though it's clear the reason was that he wanted to release as many chapters as possible while he was sick, which I think is so heartbreaking, since I'm sure he must've been worried something would happen to him before he got time to finish his already existing arcs, and people are out here trying to run his name through the mud after all the wonderful material he's written over the years. it's just sad
I think you'll love one punch man, cause it pokes fun at all the superhero stuff and action shows, while having a great story about a guy who gets to deal with the mental struggles of already being at the top so now what. Its quite refreshing and fun to read, while having some of the most beautiful art I've ever seen, so I hope you come back to it soon and enjoy it. Have fun reading all your manga.
I believe jojos does start slow and can be difficult to get into. my personal favourite part so far is part 4, such an amazing villain! (:
ER has a better collection then most people, and a lot of them are really good mangas that tell amazing stories. Hope to see a manga store asmr if so you already have me sold on most of those manga’s.
One Piece takes a while to get great but once it does you won’t regret reading it. But if you don’t want to read it because it’s hard to get into that is perfectly ok.

i highly recommend the Monogatari Series and also Welcome to the N.H.K
both are funny and have great stories although they differ greatly.
the monogatari series has its fair share of serious moments which are great. (its hard to describe lol just read/watch it)

Yessss another manga collection video finally, an underated manga I recommend is elfen lied it’s super dark at some bits but that’s what makes it so good

The one you should really continue reading further here is punpun. You may have not fallen in love with the first volume because it's pretty "mild" compared to the next ones but as it goes on the main character grows up into an adult and it becomes like a hardcore more relatable and least rock star oriented version of the wall eventually. I dont know how inio did this but anything that happenez with the main character is somehow as close to reality as physically possible. It's probably the most mature realistic mainstream manga out there. I would suggest getting the 7 volume variant of it because there's also a 13 volume one where volumes are thinner but cost a bit more in total.

A Silent Voice broke me man. I get it completely. Like holy, the movie made me cry. No other piece of literature made me actually sad except this one.
Manga saved my life, I really think you should read the first 100 chapters of one piece before dropping it it’s the best fiction ever made

Manga are really the way to go in my opinion. You just feel more related and connected with characters and its more creative than comics etc
