You can buy self adesive strips that are meant to be used as non slip patches for boat decks that are almost like sandpaper in feel but are very hard wearing that you could stick down on your ramp surface to add grip in the wet...
Nice video! Love the FlexStands. I have 4 now. I use them for lights, especially on smaller gigs. And, like someone else said, look for grip tape for your ramp. If I remember correctly, I found some on Amazon.

Think of it like a ratchet strap that can keep going, with a much longer lever. You can find 'em at farm stores and such. WARN makes a winch that's powered by a cordless drill. Also slow.
Hey Man, when you're Indoor and do not want to gaff the Cable down (looks not that good/ takes a lot of effort & Gaff) there are black Office Defender. Great for those kind of Things.
Enjoed watching this! I've noticed you chose to use artist's piezo pickup over miking up the acoustic guitar at 8:15. Any particular reason miking is not a good idea here? He's sitting down, there's no drums or other instruments around, should be pretty safe. I'm not a FOH engineer, just someone who loves miked acoustic sound, so genuinely wondering :)
A 1/4" out of an acoustic just works so well and easily. No feedback, sounds decent (pickup depending) and is the standard way of doing things. Dynamic mics (sm57) never sound great on acoustics on a live stage and a condenser mic on a live stage with a floor monitor would feed back almost instantly. It can been done without monitors (I did it last weekend with a blue grass band) but you really have to know what you're doing as an artist. Thanks for watching dude!
@@SilverCreekAudio perhaps you can modify a small winch to clip into the L track system, so you can use it anywhere? Amazon has some smaller hand crank type that you can store easily. And they also have some you can use a drill to pull the winch. Or the electric type that vary in size, but still have a hook on each end so you can move it around from rigging point to rigging point in your van, if you need to pull your gear up in the rain again. Keep putting out more content! I'm in AV in Vegas and I'm probably crazy to watch when I'm not working, but I love audio and I like how simple your sets are. Cheers!
Yes! I bought the wheel board on amazon, replaced the wheels with better ones from Home Depot, and added the D Rings for the strap. Thanks for watching man!

Come along attachment inside the door would help with the wet ramp. Take longer to load but would help if you are by yourself.👍

You can fit an M20 pole into the base but the one that comes with it fits more securely for sure.
