What's your favorite BBQ joint in Austin?
County line is purtty tasty for not being "craft bbq". I dig it 👌
Went there in the 70's and our wait was so long my friend drank the whole time, and by the time our table was ready she was passed out drunk at the table. Don't recall what the food was like!
Terry Blacks: Everything is good on the menu from the meats to the sides. The Beef Rib is probably the best in Austin. They serve food all day long from open to close unlike other BBQ joints that close down after the food is sold or just do lunch only. The longest line I've every had there is 30 minutes. That's not bad for any restaurant much less a top level BBQ joint.
Same goes for the Dallas location. Best beef rib, brisket, sausage, and pork ribs I've ever had. Its mindblowing.
I love that place. I can tear up a full rack of Bountiful Beef Ribs and a cold beer.

Both fantastic! But so new. Gotta enjoy some throwback BBQ sometimes.
I've eaten at the one in San Antonio wasn't vary impressed. But if you really want to know what a place tastes like go to the original location. If you are ever in the Fort Worth area check out Hiems or Panther Island BBQ.

It's just meh. Overall I think the best BBQ outside of Snow's or Franklin's is Stiles Switch on Lamar in Austin.
Haha 😄Snows bbq is good but overrated. Franklin is a has been. In all of Austin, you only found one place? Damn transplant 😂
