29 degrees is not very cold for a gas engine to start. I am old enough to have started many a gas engine way below zero and never had a problem doing so. I was surprised to see it started that well with the choke wide open. You have it tuned very well it appears. Be carefully plowing deep snow with that open air cleaner. I have packed the engine compartment a few times pushing deep snow and have had snow soak the air cleaner, then it freezes and then you have problems. Also snow can effect the HEI dist if you get enough around there. My dad was a rural mail carrier and he would carry a extra cap just in case the snow got to it and shorted it out. You have a very nice pickup, love the color.
Congratulations on your find man that truck waited 20 years for you to find it That's your truck, but let me give you some advice if you don't want no fires under your hood or in that garage take that glass fuel filter off and fling it throw it as far as you can I've seen those things I've seen them come loose and gas leak glass breaks they'll catch a thing on fire put a wix or anything else on there besides that just words of advice from experience but again congratulations man Happy for you
