How to Connect cPanel Email to Gmail

- Are you trying to connect your cPanel email to Gmail? cPanel email addresses are an easy to set up form of webmail that allow you to use your own domain in your email address, but the cPanel interface is not the best for reading and sending emails.
That's why so many people prefer to connect their webmail account to Gmail. This allows you to send and receive messages from your Gmail inbox as if you were using your Google mail account.
Make sure that you understand and follow the steps in the video closely; there are a number of choices which are easy to make wrong in this process and you will not be able to connect your cPanel email to your Gmail account if you don't put the correct information in the right field.
Once you've followed these steps, you won't need to log in to cPanel email again unless you want to make a change or check on things. Using Gmail instead of webmail can save you time and a lot of little annoyances, especially if you're not very comfortable using cPanel.

This was so clear and awesome, but it won't work for me. I have read that's because mine other email is a paid email (thru go dadddy). Is there a different way thru IMAP to do this? I can't find a straight answer. Thanks!
Your email service provider must support POP3 for this to work. If you are interested in switching, all WHC's web hosting plans support POP3 in email: whc.ca/canadian-web-hosting

Once connected to Gmail, is it possible to check the cPanel email from my iPhone? I do not see a way to access all of the settings using the Gmail app so it does not seem possible to select "Check email" and fetch the new messages. Is this possible?

Hello sir, thanks for the tutorial. I have setup all this, it works. But i have one more thing to be done, is it possible to make password required for each different user in gmail. I have 5 users, so i need different password for each user to enable them to send or read email.

When I try to access from gmail as "add account" I get that the account does not exist. But I already checked that if I can receive emails and I can send emails from the company account.

Hey there, here's a question: If I would like to clean up my inbox (Archive and delete etc), do those changes reflect on the server side as well (cPanel)?
When you download your emails using POP method, you should have an option to delete the emails from the origin server after you have downloaded them to Gmail. Simply check this box. Otherwise, emails will live in both places and deleting them in Gmail will not delete them in your cPanel email.

For some reason I got the email, but it doesnt show the code anywhere. I keep pressing resend but it doesnt even resend the email at all now. I even deleted the alias and tried it again but to no avail! What can I do for this?
is there a way to increase the frequency that gmail checks the pop mail? Maybe to fetch the pop mail when you click on the inbox?

I found out that gmail has gmail workspace where you need to pay 5usd per month. What is the difference we use paid version custom gmail and connect with cpanel?
The method described in this video should work with both the free and paid versions of gmail or Google Workspace. If you want to save those 5$USD per month, you could subscribe to a web hosting account at whc.ca and simply connect it to your free Gmail account, and this generally works well and there are no major differences as far as the emailing part is concerned!

In your CPanel Emails option should be the option Manage Devices.. That option has the SSL configuration of your email account.
