This deck has so much nuance to it. The debate between 2 or 3 albaz for me is a key point in running or not running super poly, as super poly becomes a whole new thing when albaz is on the field, same with keeper of dragon magic and its second effect, not great unless super poly is in play. Love the 2 fenrir, gonna try it out, it replacing itself in hand is such a valid point! Love the content my guy, big love from Scotland
Love the fenrir tech, I might try that out, especially next format where superheavy samurai can consistently make naturia exterio. Also, people don't seem to understand how broken alba-lenatus is in a grind game. It's true that the contact fuse doesn't come up much unless you see dragon link at your locals. But the real reason you make it is for resource recovery. Lubellion shuffles back all your dragons (albion, albaz, etc) in grave and banished, and then you can potentially wipe their board with a 2500 beater that can attack multiple times. I have done this in several tournaments, which is why I will never cut it because it resets all your resources. You can even send a tear card off of branded fusion to fuse for a dragostapelia on top of that to shuffle back in a non-dragon card in your grave like mirrorjade. I have had mixed results running scheiren (the least bricky), but it's worth trying out.
Many player main decking evenly and for this is expulsion cool too or u play againt kash They special fenrir u can banish it with mj and go for expulsion and summon hin puppet/ra discipline and on ur side fenrir/aluber etc
I personally would say 3 albaz is a must! It is never dead in hand with the cartesia and branded in white or red it has massive plays, also against runick banishing your entire deck it is needed to get off multiple branded fusions!
imo branded retribution is great disruption even if you aren't playing puppet/ra's d. It's very handy for disrupting Kashtira, Floo, Heros and can get you cartesia back if you cant use branded in red
Fenrir conflictet with branded opening, somestime u want to special aluber in draw to play around veiler/droll and then in main phase u cant specail fenrir Overall nice list Greetings from GermanY
How much have you liked talents? It seems like no matter how many cards you draw after BF gets ashed, your end board would still be mediocre. As a going second tool, wouldn't change of heart or dark ruler be more valuable?
If i get ashed i usually use it to look at opponents hand to hopefully stop them from winning next turn so i canhave another shot. Like you said, drawing2 wont really fix your board
Usually when you get to that point of the combo line you dont want to be fusion wit materials on field, white lets you use grave materials so it’s better for that purpose
I only like Masquerade in patchwork builds where you have extra polymerizations to fusion summon. In standard builds its not really good enough to use one of your limited number of fusion summons on
I find it very interesting that there is no crossout in the main to ensure that Branded Fusion goes through. Is it because you have Cartesia that you don’t feel it’s as needed? Loved the build though. Do you think the deck NEEDS to play crossout if you don’t have The Bystial Lubellion and Cartesia?
The fenrir actually seems pretty nice aside from hands with opening as the main starter. I didn’t like expulsion at first either but it’s the best counterplay to evenly and it almost completely bricks kash hands Im also curious if you have tried out Crossout and the aqua dolphin package in the side and if so what do you think?
Uhh often the spright board is just toad and double cross which is admittedly pretty tough. You just have to burn thru the negates. Cartesia effect forces one, talents forces one, albaz can force one, and just hope that you have enough forces to land branded fusion. Side deck helps a lot, including backrow removal which clears the doublecross which is one less negate to worry about
I can trigger either Tragedy or Mercourier with Sarc to search most of my deck, Foolish only triggers Tragedy (although it supports other plays by sending other stuff yes)
Thats likely because ad lib doesnt help build your turn 1 board directly, but is crucial for turn 2 on your opponent’s turn to pair with branded in red to fuse itself and mirrorjade into chimera or dragostapelia and then ad lib brings back mirrorjade to make it able to use mirrorjade effect a second time
@@phantomsygo ahh ok that makes sense. But usually if you can set up a board with mirrorjade and Draco and follow up with guardian, you more than likely win no?
Im waiting the budget decklist😆😁
Hey bud. Cool list. Great ideas and explanations. Just one note:
Garura can’t be summoned off of banishment because it’s not level 8 or higher.
Good point! I havent actually tried it i just use it for grang mostly. But good to keep in mind for sure yikes

The Branded Beast himself graces us plebs with another awesome upload. Featuring some very shiny cardboard!
Hah high praise, I appreciate it
Interesting, I find I run out of Albaz in the grind game if I only run 2

I play a very similar build, I just smacked 3 kaiju in and crossout to cover both big monsters and ash
Just a heads up about banishment, you can’t make garura with it. You have to summon a level 8 or high fusion monster. It’s still really good!
Yes good correction thank you! Even more reason to swap it for a second dragoon

🔥🐐
The keeper line is a one card dragoon and I think it’s super underrated
What's the line for that?

Yeah like i said i’m on the fence, i kinda want to switch to 3
How do you usually side in this list?
There seems like a lot of engine pieces in this list so what do you usually side out games 2/3
imo branded retribution is great disruption even if you aren't playing puppet/ra's d. It's very handy for disrupting Kashtira, Floo, Heros and can get you cartesia back if you cant use branded in red
What is your take on the new Chimera support in Branded ? turns Branded Fusion into full combo and doesn't take from you anything
I like the fenrir good creativity
you can go into sprind w fenrir
Yep true
Fenrir conflictet with branded opening, somestime u want to special aluber in draw to play around veiler/droll and then in main phase u cant specail fenrir
Overall nice list
Greetings from GermanY
Danke schön! Yea draw phase opening is really the only conflict

quick question, isnt the fieldspell better than branded white,?
Usually when you get to that point of the combo line you dont want to be fusion wit materials on field, white lets you use grave materials so it’s better for that purpose
Do u not like Masquerade in ur extra deck instead of garura?
It has a sick effect..
I only like Masquerade in patchwork builds where you have extra polymerizations to fusion summon. In standard builds its not really good enough to use one of your limited number of fusion summons on
This series is awsome man, really! What do you think about the ra disciple lock? As budget version
Disciple is a cool budget tech sure!
No, kinda the opposite. Ill talk about no cartesia / no lubellion strategy in the next video in the series
Call me crazy but I don’t main deck hand traps 😂 every time I do I miss the consistency
The fenrir actually seems pretty nice aside from hands with opening as the main starter.
I didn’t like expulsion at first either but it’s the best counterplay to evenly and it almost completely bricks kash hands
Im also curious if you have tried out Crossout and the aqua dolphin package in the side and if so what do you think?
I haven’t tried them honestly but theyre neat and i may test it going forward
Great profile! Curious why you’re playing gold sarg over foolish burial? I did the opposite of you and cut the sarg
Fair enough, I see foolish as far more flexible, but I don’t often use gold sarc for mercourier, so that could be worth it
Yea my reasons are what TeaG said, theres def a case for foolish too
how do you out spright. pls tell me

Why gold sarc over foolish
I can trigger either Tragedy or Mercourier with Sarc to search most of my deck, Foolish only triggers Tragedy (although it supports other plays by sending other stuff yes)
In my test hands I’ve never seen the benefit of Ad libium…

No crossout ??
It’s an option sure
