Highly recommend dramaturge, and magnamhut plus at least 1 more saronir. besides lubellion and tragedy, saronir is the best second card to have for a branded fusion combo. Dramaturge sometimes creates an interruption out of thin air. Magnamhut gives you another target to fuse with while also searching you a saronir on end phase for interruption and followup. you could also add 1 druis or baldrake as a second magnamhut/lubellion target
I personally like having expulsion maindeck. Popping a mirrorjade after you use it and resummoning cartesia and albaz, using albaz to super poly with opponent and then cartesia effect to fuse with ad lib to reset mirrorjade
I personally don't even want to play this deck without dragoon anymore to be honest. Because not only is it fun to be able to play it and dark magician but... it's also funny that you can use fusion deployment and summon the dark magician by revealing dragoon for the memes XD
Fusion Deployment to summon Dark Magician then use Theater to fusion summon Dragoon using a dragon in hand of field. I don’t think people realize how versatile the field spell is. It’s only requirement is level eight or higher. And, you’ll always have your field spell zone to summon to the extra monster zone. Those two zones are a last ditch effort to out a Kashtira board.
Really amazing stuff dude. I just watched a couple of your videos and I love the level of detail you go into. Me and my partner are master duel players and we just started poking our heads into playing tcg. These videos are suuuper helpful for developing our starter decks. Looks like branded has a bit I need to hunt for but that’s fine lol.
Thanks for the kind words, I really appreciate it. I’m glad I was able to help out in some way! Hopefully I can put out more for you all soon! Thanks again for tuning in ☕️
You get a sub from me. Love the branded deck and the explanation you give as to why each card is in the deck is great. I'm currently trying to decide whether to run 3 Saronir and Lubellion or take 1 of each out and put in the field spell 😄
I know Dramaturge is a bit bricky and unpopular in the deck nowadays, but I still play it and it has been a game breaker on many occasions either by it's negate effect or by chain blocking its summoning effect to play around Ash. As always, it's a great video and loving the coffee and cards vibe! ❤️ ☕️🃏
Thanks I appreciate the support! I agree, dramaturge is a great card and I do miss its versatility in the deck. Plus you can also dump it with dusk dragon in a pinch and set up some cool OTKs☕️
This deck struggles so much against 4 things in particular: 1- D Barrier 2- Ash ftk 3-Bystials 4-Anti Spell and then there are secondary cards that kind of affect them in niche scenarios like imperm and veiler. I feel like crossout along with aqua dolphin is a must now anytime you wanna go first since everyone's heavy siding against this deck
Thoughts on the dusk dragon line to dump shaddoll apokeollena and search schism? Make winda and get a search/draw from regain or lost. (Is limited to main phase which is kinda bummer. But it feels much easier to set up vs the expulsion lock with ra or gimmick puppet
I agree, that’s a lot easier to pull off consistently. But the gimmick line, while being harder to set up, is a lot harder to play around or Playthru compared to Winda. I think if you have the extra deck space, and like the consistency of the set up, then, by all means run with it! Just keep in mind that now there is a lot more options for your opponent to counter play it. Stuff like impermanence, lava, golem, book of eclipse, and even special summon Fenrir, are now viable options to potentially out winda. Obviously, you would probably have other things along side it, but again I think it’ll come down to personal preference and I think it’s a super solid option.☕️
How do you like Allure with only ~12 darks in deck? I've struggled to justify running allure unless I'm close to ~20. I'd like my expectation of drawing 2 off Allure to produce at least 1 option to banish.
Normally, I feel fine with the number of darks I’ve been running, mostly because if I open allure I am typically trying to search mercourier to make it a pot of greed especially. It doesn’t always pan out that way, but worst case if it’s dead you can just discard it for lubellions effect
Personally I'm not too fond of it, in order to successfully pull it off you are really putting it all on that play and its quite easy to disrupt, if it fails you pretty much end on an empty board and lose. I prefer using expulsion in game 2/3 just to tribute guignol and become immune to evenly by giving the opponent a dead monster
dark magician is a dark attribute so it makes lubellion instead of albion, which is harder to stop and dark magician allows dragoon to pop once while hex seal doesn't give dragoon the pop.
Iv been playing branded despia darkworld.. branded despia combos with the darkworld hand loops and pops/searches dm for more info since i clesrly have the nost interesting deck profile 😉😅
Hey mate, good decklist! Only thing I would change is that if you don't play that many bystial (and not alot of tragedy or merc), I think allure is not necessary as you don't have many targets for it! I personally went with it in my deck because I decided to keep a bit more bystials and this helps me cycle through them. Also what did you choose for your side deck?
I definitely get what you’re saying, and I definitely agree. Even though my dark count is lower I personally haven’t been having an issue with it. I found that worst case scenario I just Discard it for lubellion. As far as my side goes, I am always changing it, depending on the state of the game, and whether I’m playing it at a YCS, regionals, or locals. But I will say in general, I side the explosion package going first, Crossout and thrust for going second, and typically some form of backrow/board breaker cards, depending on what I feel is going on.
Yea, there’s a lot of things that can take it’s place. Probably the easiest thing is to throw the patchwork engine in. That way you have more ways to fuse or continue playing if branded fusion is hit with ash.
No branded in white? Really think it’s so underrated. Basically a poly or miracle fusion as needed. Hard made a dragoon with a Bystial lubellion and dark magician in hand and it won me the game 😂
Very true! I definitely think it’s super solid! I find myself pitching DM with opening or lubellion if I draw it and it helps. But your right! Having branded in white comes in clutch
Feels like white is fat on the branded stack list and you need to keep the deck close to 40 so you have the best chance to get branded fusion. And also play enough going 2nd cards so you can play/ break the board going 2nd the branded engine is so big it's honestly really hard to justify this card especially with cartisea
@@josepharmstrong6852 I understand what you’re saying but tbh I don’t think it’s just a win more card. It’s another branded spell/trap that can help you play through ash, imperm, etc. Sometimes if I already have branded fusion in the hand, I’ll search branded white off aluber instead of lost because I would rather have a way to make a fusion like masquerade or quaertis even if I got hit with ash. Not to mention it can summon guardian chimera which you need more ways to do now that the patchwork engine is cut. 41 cards with branded in white is going to play just as efficiently as 40 cards without white.

You literally can pitch hex-sealed light summong Albion and then off of Albions fusion summon effect use the hex and albion to summon dragoon. no reason to run magician, he's a brick anyways and at the very least hex can also act as a ghetto poly and has "ok" defense.
Playing Dark Magician is kind of dumb you can play the light hex seal, its better, reasons why, it's a light, its not a dead card in your deck if dragoon is snipped, and it can be your 4th Albaz or 2nd or 3rd Cartesia. Its overall better then dark magician...
Very true! Hex seal can do basically the same thing. Normally I like sending the bystial for my light target if I can BUT The main reason running dark magician helps, is now with the new dusk dragon, there opens up some cool likes where you can dump dark magician to the grave with dusks effect to be able use it to fuse with it in grave. It’s a great tech and another layer to the ceiling of the deck.(:

The reason why I run more than 1 Tragedy is because I can discard it for cost with Dragoon’s omni-negate :)
Best way to get branded deck?
If money is tight then Start with 3 structure decks and slowly add the despia/ staples.
If not then TCGplayer should have everything you need
