I bet that has happened countless times around the world in the last century. I've watched every episode of Locked Up Abroad and I Almost Got Away With It, and have seen a dozen or more guys pull some INGENIOUS feats. Dannemora, The Texas 7, and Alcatraz are all great examples. In one instance the escape had to be rushed for that very reason, can't remember which though. I imagine that 'ridin dirty' 24/7 has got to make you a nervous wreck. Cell check in C block tonight boys. Yikes.

bagosk8r90 have you not jumped of a building roof before because I jumped off a shed roof which was equal to the second floor
@@barnabyjjones2348 Its not so much that he cant jump down, its the fact that hes on the 2nd floor, meaning he needs a direct link outside as most prison doors are closed and locked. Even if it was linked outside it isnt really concealed and the moment he jumps from the 2nd floor to the yard the guards in the towers watching for escapees will see him.

The police officer he killed was my friend! Officer Cox was someone I would consider a exemplary officer! A photo you can find a photo on google that he is in Walmart standing next to a kid (me) wearing his uniform hat.

I was a Correctional officer in a maximum security prison in Texas . our inmates figured out how to open their cell doors with toilet paper and a popsicle stick . I'm not kidding you .

Our inmates have a lot of time on their hands. They've learned to pass their time by doing art. My college art professor also taught art in the prison, and he found it incredibly rewarding. He also loved to show us how inmates would hide gang signals in the artwork .

America should learn from other countries where they only give the maximum of 20 years and they actually try to rehabilitate and treat inmates more humanly. You'd be surprised how many less repeat offenders there are in those kind of countries

Norway has different criminals than the US. The US has gang issues and if these guys are set free, their safe haven in to rejoin with their gangs. In most other countries, gangs are not an issue and they return to their families (if still possible) and go on with life as it was before.
No be like Russia give your prisoners an 8 foot by 3 foot cell with a steel door and a slot that closes with only a 40 watt light bulb to keep it lit and infested with roaches also only a sheet for sleep and the army as guards don't try to run your at least 200 miles from the closest town and a Siberian winter right outside

My boy broke out of the Seminole County Jail in Florida in 1990. Maximum security at that. He noticed the shower walls were crumbly. Him and 3 black dudes broke through to a utility closet. Got out and over the wire fence. They all got busted while beating some poor dude up for his car keys.
He's still in the joint !

The real John Parsons killed my friend. Officer Cox was the only adult figure that made the Chillicothe school system bearable. It was alway great to see him and he was thought highly throughout most of the students.

When you really consider it , life in prison is far worse than death.
Endless days considering your fate , or a death that we all owe anyway.
In the end death merely sets you free.
In the USA, the death penalty is practically a life sentence, with execution after 20 or more years. 20 years on death row in one of the worst US states and you begging for dead.

@@Derek_Keenan he did. He got away for a bit but got bit by a spider hiding from cops in the woods, was too sick to do much so he hid out in a shed for a bit then got caught. The rest of the story is on TH-cam too.

I'm pretty certain he used Green Jolly Rancher Candies mixed with tooth paste to cover his etching's into the wall. I have a photographic memory and I think I saw this episode 8 years and four months ago.
The guy was obviously not an idiot, he had a well thought out plan and executed it. Seems that he was dealt the wrong cards in life and reacted improperly leading him to prison.
