1981 Kawasaki GPz550 Test Ride

We take our 'Ninja's Grand-pappy' out for a test ride.
Don't know the GPz550? This is what started it all. Before the GSX-R, CBR, Ninja or FZR, there was the GPz550. This is the bike that fueled the sport bike craze and production roadracing festivity of the early ’80s.
Regrettably, due to a prior owner's stupid attempts at welding it to make a 'cafe racer' this bike had a compromised frame and couldn't realistically be re-roaded. See the parts available from it at www.ebay.com/s...

Cool bike and very rare only seen 2 in England I think the twin shock version is better looking than the unitrac later ones thanks for sharing.
