hi ty for your help on other vids. Maybe wrong video to ask on but for in-game deadzone settings on fortnite, i know xim is meant for console so you might not know as much about pc. But if im using Xbox One controller on PC, should i use ps4 config and 0.12 deadzone or lower as many suggest, or should i use .20 and xbox one config. I was told the Xbox Config for Fort (exponential) is jittery on PC. Any ideas?
If you use a Xbox controller then pick the Xbox ingame settings and also the XIM Xbox Fortnite profile :).
Hey .....ich wollte mal fragen wenn ich einen xbox elite Controller ob ich da auch irgendwas in der Einstellung des Controllers vornehmen kann ....oder sollte ich die Einstellungen auf Standard lassen .....hab damals trigger Empfindlichkeit verändert und die analogsticks auf 1% gemacht ...sprich wenn ich den analogstick nur berühre bewegt sich auch der Charakter.....ist das sinnvoll die Einstellungen beizubehalten oder doch lieber den Controller auf Standard zu setzen .....
bin von deinen Videos begeistert mach weiter so 👍👍👍
Belasse diese Einstellungen auf Standard, über die XIM Config kannst du diese (bei Bedarf) wesentlich feiner anpassen und auch direkt im Spiel testen. Notwendig sind diese nur wenn du Probleme mit den Sticks, Triggern und Co. hast um entsprechend Gegenzusteuern :).
@@XIMCentral habe derzeit die Einstellungen noch drin .....aber ich setzte die gleich mal auf Standard und dann geht es in apex auf den Schießstand....wenn ich gleich noch mal fragen habe schreibe ich dir nochmal .....danke dir👍👍👍
@@XIMCentral was ich dich noch fragen wollte ....wenn ich einen Gegner anvisiere und drauf schieße dann habe ich das Problem das der aimassist sehr stark ist .....also mal anders erklärt.....ein Gegner steht vor mir und ich schieße auf ihn ....meist treffe ich sehr gut ...aber wenn ich in einer höheren Position bin und der Gegner ist unter mir dann kann ich ihn sehr schwer treffen da ich die maus sehr viel nach unten ziehen muss ....steht der Gegner auf gleicher Höhe und der Gegner duckt sich habe ich das gleiche Problem.....läuft der Gegner normal herum habe ich das Problem nicht .....weiß du vielleicht was ich da falsch gemacht habe ???
I use hori tac keyboard with my xim cuz it has a real left stick for movement but i have 2 questions :
1- adjusting Right stick deadzone will not affect my mouse movement threshold right?
2- will adjusting right/left trigger deadzones affect their assigned mouse/keyboard buttons ?
Hey, neither of the two will affect your mouse though theres currently a bug that may affect your mouse. It will probably be fixed with the next firmware update.
XIMGameplay is it related to some random unpredictable mouse movements? Cuz i encountered these more often in the last month, suddenly it becomes jittery then goes away
@@fiinrii_9283 That sounds like its related to something else such as the mouse having polling rate drops.
The xim is not available in my region. So I was thinking about buy the keymander 2. Dose it also have the same stick drift/worn out analog elimination?
Hey, i never tried a keymander 2 so im not sure. XIM Apex can currently not be produced due to the semi-conductor/silicon shortages around the world.
This really helped me with the deadzone settings, but is there a way to change the controller binds if there is one controller plugged in? I’m trying to rebind my PS4 controller, but its using both binds. If I bind O to R3, R3 will still melee and crouch, and O will crouch and melee as well.
Hey, you cannot change the controller buttons on the first controller connected to the xim as its the authentication controller. It will only work for secondary controllers (another playstation controller, sony nav, ...). What you can do though is to go into your playstation system settings and change the button bindings there instead. You will of course have to adjust your xim keyboard and mouse bindings accordingly then.

Would you clarify one thing?
The default analog deadzone is set to 7500, is that the same as 7.5 on a scale of 0 to 100??
(100 being pegged all the way left, right, up or down and 0 being dead center under the respective axis)
For example, my Sony Nav sits naturally at Y Axis: -3.35 and X Axis at 2.12.
Assuming my in-game deadzone is zero:
to prevent movement I would enter the Analog Deadzone Section in the XIM Manager and enter Left Stick: 3350 (Nav) and Right Stick: 0 (mouse)
Correct?

If i am using xim matrix with a regular xbox controller (no other input devices), I should plug that solo controller into port 3 right? No 2nd auth controller required when playing on a gamepad, right?
That depends on the platform you want to play on. What device you want to play on?
So I recently bought a xim due to every controller I buy having insane stick drift, if my current controller’s all have drift will this affect my xim gameplay? Im asking is it necessary for me to change deadzones in every game config to avoid stick drift on xim. Or do I not have to worry about stick drift at all while using xim apex.
Always use the recommended ingame settings so your xim will work as intended, including the ingame deadzone values. You can then fix a stick drift with the xim managers deadzone settings :).

Hey so I have a Azeron with my XIM, for me to be able to move with analog stick I have to calibrate my Azeron in MW2 PS5 my question is do I try to calibrate with this or should I leave it alone ? I just feel my analog movement worked better when I used controller that was plugged in for controller authentication. Any tips ?😊
Hey, im not really familiar with Azeron devices as usually other people from the XIM Team handle this. If you dont mind, ask this question in the XIM Forum so the responsible person at XIM for Azeron can tell you what to do.

Do you still recommend codmw deadzone settings as default or zero in game ?
It has been analyzed now and it turns out it doesnt matter, those settings are bugged and all are the same. At one point the CoD devs might change that but until then either use default (or any other value).

Does RK61 60% Keyboard work with xim? (its a power hog, im planning to use static color with low brightness)
I havent read any feedback regarding that keyboard yet but most keyboards do. If its power hungry you may have to use an external power supply with your xim hub to add more electricity.

I have good News!
I've Confirmed that the RK61 Keyboard Works! However, it functions ONLY on a STATIC Backlit Color. Lower the brightness by 2 Presses (FN+__) Doing this took the strain off the Xim therefore No Yellow & Red Indicators.
*SIDE NOTE*
If You The person reading this has a RGB Mouse Paired with RK61, i suggest lowering the brightness just a BIT and ONLY a BIT on the mouse.
Gameplay:
-No Delay
-Doesn't Shut Off On You While Idle
-Played for two hours straight, No problems found

Why when I tracking someone, my aim gets stopped?
This happened on Overwatch, for a few seconds.
Do I need to change the dead zone?
I play on Ps4.
I use a normal configuration, I set only the hip at 7.50 on 12k DPI, nothing more, but sometimes happen the problem said.
Oh, why does the Xim work better on Xbox?
Is it for a different dead zone?
What is the best for the Ps4 pads?
Do you maybe mean the aim assist of the game that slows you down around a target? Xbox has better mouse movements because the stick has twice the resolution.
@@XIMCentral If I move my mouse when I shoot, for few seconds it's was locked, especially when I use a hero like Soldier. I need to stop shooting for unlocking it.

so if my aim does not drift i can just set the stick dead zones to zero? i noticed its hard to fire semi auto with trigger dead zones at none or are we supposed to just keep the default value when using console controller crossover?
For cross controller useage you can fully customize those values to your personal preference, the default values are just the ones which ensure all connected controllers play well. Of course more expensive controllers with better quality assurance can also work with lower values as they have less mechanical play that has to be compensated.
@@XIMCentral i am using a dualshock 4 on xbox one x with variable refresh rate enabled im trying to get the lowest input delay possible i have tried 1000hz and 500hz i have gathered all information possible and i personally believe the dualshock 4 is only capable of its native 250hz over wired and i have noticed 500hz over bluetooth feels faster in regards to stick movements and button presses but less consistent aim assist is it safe to say if i set my deadzones all to zero and have no drift and no issue firing semi auto weapons without the gun jamming than i can effectively use no deazone? some games have there own built in deadzones in the game engine themselves that can also be adjusted but i have learned form previous xim use not to mess with those is that correct? by default i also believe xbox deadzones are usually set higher than playstation?
@@stupidstunts217 What you may experience is the stick resolution difference, a PS4 controller only has have the resolution of a Xbox controller which results in noticeably more responsive and precise micro movements. So no matter what settings you use it will never feel as snapy as with an Xbox controller when playing on the Xbox. As for the polling rates, you can ask a XIM Support Engineer about the actual overclocking potential of PS4 controllers. Yes they natively run in 250hz but its possible to clock them higher when in wired more. Though that depends on the controller model. Again a XIM Support Engineer can provide you with further information on that.
Will my xim be effected by a controller that has really bad controller drift it makes me look up like very couple of seconds.
You can adjust that via the XIM config to stop the drift, so no that shouldnt be a problem.
Gibt es auch eine Möglichkeit die Empfindlichkeit bei den Sticks am Controller im ADS Mode zu verändern? Das wäre praktisch bei Destiny 2 um präziser zu zielen ohne auf die Agilität beim Hip Modus verzichten zu müssen.
Für den Authentizitätskontroller geht das nicht, für einen zusätzlichen, am XIM angeschlossenen Controller geht das aber über die Cross-Controller Config.
Ich habe Mal eine Frage du sagst ja das kein Einfluss hat wenn man Mouse und Keyboard benutzt die deadzone settings ... Ich habe gestern ein config für die Nintendo Switch Gemacht Warface und splatoon 2 habe auch auch an dem deadzone settings den Rechten Stick die Werte runtergeschraubt ... Die maus Steuerung fühlte sich besser an Butter weich
Wie kann das sein ?
Das ist ein Bug welcher bei einigen Configs auftauchen kann, wurde vor ein paar Tagen bekannt und wird eventuell schon mit dem nächsten Update gepatcht :).

hey das ist ganz normal, so gut wie jeder spieler ist bei links/rechts bewegungen genauer als bei hoch/runter bewegungen. wichtig ist die art wie du die maus hälst, wenn du zb die palmgrip art benutzt dann ist es schwerer nach oben/unten zu zielen als mit der fingertip art. mit xim settings und co kannst du hier nicht viel ändern, es kommt eher darauf an wie du deine maus zum zielen benutzt.
I’ve noticed a difference with my mouse and keyboard when I change the dead zone from 0 and 30000 thousand on my xim and i don’t use an analog stick . Can you please do a config for Call of duty Infinite warfare ?
Hey, thats a bug in the xim software that has already been forwarded to the dev team. I dont have infinite warfare but the config would probably be very similar to my other CoD config videos :).

Perfect Dark XBLA has a 45% deadzone I think? If a game has a hard coded deadzone and if it is that big is it possible to get 1:1 translation in Perfect Dark XBLA or am I wasting my time trying to achieve this since there is no profile for the game? For example all movements from the stick to mouse before hitting the 45% deadzone wouldn't register as a movement.
If there is no profile for the game then you can follow my "Unsupported game configs" video guide. You are looking at a very long process though and a 1:1 translation is only possible with lots of dedication and time.

If I put it to max dead zone then the delay increases for strafe movement. For the mouse it creates a stutter still. I was playing around just for kicks and sometimes I thought it made me aim better and other times it didn’t
Hey, you mean the ingame settings? Yes those can have an influence on the aim assist, but usually also affect your overall mouse movement quality.

@@ptskriptts5025 Hey, you just plug the Nav into the XIM via cable and then press the PS button. Past that point its paired wireless with your XIM and you can remove the cable.

Check if you copied the whole code including the arrows, if that doesnt solve it then you are using a different firmware than the one the code has been created with.
Hey,when I shoot with my xim apex in rainbow six siege it moves to the left and right,why can’t it stay still and not move to the left and right?
Called recoil lmao
This is part of the weapon balancing and is called weapon recoil. The horizontal movement is random but the vertical one is pretty much fixed, so you can learn to move down your mouse at the right moment and speed to compensate that.

@@sadding6569 With the controller it should be the same when you dont touch the right analog stick. And yes you get used to it and learn the pattern, then you can play very well with it.
When I run and go to the left or right side, the player stops, I want to run and go to the right or left without placing the camera on the right or left, just like Jostek when running
I assume you refer to RB6? Thats just not possible on console because the console version is coded differently to the PC version. In console RB6 you cannot run to the side, you can only run forward.
Why can you run to the side in the control and not be able to run aside in the mouse and the keyboard

I’m having drift with my mouse but not my controller. But to test when I plug the mouse in my computer 0 drift any help would greatly be appreciated!
Hey, can you create a brand new XIM config and not change anything in it? Do you have drift problems when using that config too?
@@XIMCentral I will try it I have just noticed it come out of no where on my pubg config where it was perfectly fine before I tried cleaning the sensor and nothing so I will try a new config tonight and report back thanks!
@@deadly134 Maybe also check if some dirt has made it onto the sensor glass now.
@@XIMCentral so the glass was clean. But either making a new config worked or the only other thing I can think of is my polling rate switched to 500hz for some reason and I switched back to 1000 and it works the very best now. Thank you!

Yes but the PC is not a supported platform and not all games work.

@@instastory1684 There is no such list since PC isnt a supported XIM platform. If you want to use it on PC then id recommend you to join the XIM Discord and ask community members that have experience with the PC. For example you will usually need an Xbox One controller to get games working.

If I change my dead zone settings in game how does this affect my mouse aim and keyboard movement ?
This means your XIM game profile is no longer optimized to the ingame settings and you get poor mouse movements, such as bad micro movements, mouse acceleration or other unwanted behavior.

Xim Please help me out. Some of people have there hip and ads to 21 and they have fast movements.. and i put my dpi to 16k and my hip and ads to 30 and it has sloow movement
Why
This can have plenty of reasons, here are some of the most common ones:
- you use a different XIM Sync than those people
- your mouse has no onboard memory and therefore cannot maintain 16.000 dpi when connected to the xim
- your mouse has onboard memory but you didnt save your dpi changes onto the mouse memory but only localy on the pc

Exactly since the Tartarus is a DPad that looks like an Analog Stick. With a Logitech G13 this would be different.
