Beneath The Remains and Arise are the definitely the best Sepultura albums . . . Good find

Now and Then records based in the UK kept AOR/MHR alive in the 90s, they have released a lot of great albums like Gary Hughes, Ten, Mark Free, Crown of Thorns etc
ROCK CANDY music label rules! Currently spinning Icon - Night Of The Crime, remastered and with great liner notes as per usual. The remastered sonics are outstanding! Status Quo early material (with a psychedelic bent to it) is really strong, playing that right now. That New England debut is really getting some much earned acclaim these days, I need to get that Rock Candy release of it.
Please do take us along with you on purchasing a Home cassette deck player😊 as I have been looking for a CS home deck and would love to have your insight into a getting one🎉
Buy a Nakamichi if you want the best, my husband has one and Naim Audio amps/Cyrus Signature Dac/transparent / PSXR2❤.. His set up is about 30kGBP..happy hunting.
I need a cassette deck as well, but just a boom box style for the bathroom. Pulled out an old boom box with cassette player and it instantly ate two different cassettes! 😫😫😫

Beneath the Remains is a desert island disc for me and the Cavalera re - record of Schizophrenia album is really awesome plus song 10 is new , called ‘ Nightmares of Delirium’ great track. I am checking out Black Country Communion based on your recommendation. Great podcast
Petra is a great band I been listening to them for years.
I just discovered that the cassette player in my car works yesterday so I picked up Skid Row, Slave to the Grind, and Detonator by Ratt on cassette for my car
All 3 of those albums rock. Ratt’s Detonator is their best album IMO. I can listen to that one anytime!

i found a Eric clapton 4 CD Japan box
for 8 dollar, also a 8" Japan Pic disc
from the 50s, 😁✌️
The other Shotgun Symphony releases are well worth it.
My first sepultura was arise after seeing them interviewed on headbangers and seeing their video from than chaos ad was my second cd 💿 from them then I went back and forward with sepultura but the max years are my favorite.
I assume you have your collection scanned into discogs or on some sort of inventory system?

Cool, I found the second New England album in the record store, had heard them mentioned often so I decided to buy it. I then placed an order on the debut, it is available on the Rock Candy website so hopefully they still have a few!

If you don’t have (or haven’t ordered) Russ Ballard’s The Fire Still Burns, I highly recommend it. Also, Book of Love has some killer songs on it. He’s a great songwriter. Many people would be surprised how many songs they’ve heard that were written by him. Also wrote one or more songs that the group America covered.
Answer to John Elefante question. It is pronounced e-le-fan-te. Spanish for Elephant. He himself pronounced it with the e on the end in an interview on TH-cam.

3 times the finds compared to last week. I had ordered a 2 cd set of Argent from Amazon....mine was damaged too.. no shrink wrap,cd 2 was scratched up and the digipack looked like they ran it over with a fork lift 😡 . Waiting for a replacement
Sounds like it was a used copy. Mine was new though, still in factory sealed shrink wrap.

Brendon, I don’t know if this trick will work to fix the Argent booklet, take a thick hard cover book and lay the booklet flat in a section of the book where the stack of pages from the book will lay flat & eve. Then shut the book and let it sit for a day and see if it will flatten out. Can’t guarantee it will work 100% but worth a shot.
No once the crease has been made it’s there for good.
Whenever I buy a disc now, I have to research it, cause I've been burned a couple of times buying a disc and then finding out there's another out there with bonus tracks. It's becoming a royal pain.
Yeah it’s pissing me off too. Especially with all the special editions that are released a a single distributor like Target or Walmart, or exclusive variants. I miss the days when an album was just an album and/or all the info was given at one time and there was only one limited edition version. But I hate buying a standard edition and then a week or two later finding out there is a limited edition or exclusive version that I would have preferred. Such is the life of a music collector! 😂😂😂
@BrendonSnyder Yeah, I had to get the Judas Priest from Target for the extra tracks and the packaging was better also. Lately, it seems a lot of the digi packs from over seas have bonus tracks

There should be no expectation for any additional Cavalera re-recordings of classic Sepultura albums. The plan all along was to do the first three albums, as they themselves have referred to these re-recordings as a trilogy. Besides, Arise and Beneath are already perfect as they are, so redoing them is unnecessary.

@Brendon, imagine if your collection was picked up for free… meaning not having spend a dime of your hard earned money on it? Honestly, would you enjoy it the same?! 🤷🏼♂️🎸
Personally, I remember my youth having to choose between Dare, Magnum and Talisman live. Tuff times, but damn I appreciated stuff. Much more than free streaming today 😢
And yes, I’m keeping my enormous 💿 collection in boxes for the same reason 🫣
