I can't wait for Armada (it'll be here next Friday) - one of the highlights of 2024 for me! Also on order from this week is Orden Ogan - The Order Of Fear.
Man that is wild, that Supermodel Taxidermy album is $7.99 on Amazon USA, but on Amazon Canada it is $20.72. Almost everything on my new release wish list is $24.99 and up. The new Bon Jovi is currently sitting at $27.89. Just means, I get to spend more time at my local record store :)
Yes, that Yardbirds BBC CD set is non-existent in North America. I had it pre-ordered, and neither North American Amazon could get it. So, I picked up the older 2019 3 CD Yardbirds BBC set to tide me over, while I wait for a wider release of the new 2024 set.
Amazon US is selling it. It’s just that they are currently selling the UK import for $62. But it’s still Amazon selling it, not a third party. If you had left it pre-ordered they would have had to fulfill the order even with an import. They have done it for me in the past several times with items that didn’t get a domestic release.
Holiday weeks always lack new releases. Only picked up one this week...George Lynch. Did pick up 2 from the last episode of whats on my cd wall... Josh Todd and Blackwood Creek.

It’s that kind of week with a holiday labels artists feel people are going to lose their new release so they shy away from this week and some times the one before and after. Some stuff coming later in the month definitely that police box set, Olivia Rodrigo deluxe release, the Lennon box set next week for me like others I’m going with the two cd set, seeing reviews of it from people, I just can’t spend 160 bucks on a 6 cd set of the same songs mixed and in different stages, it’s literally spending 160 dolllars for the book with it. Some are even saying Sean Lennon may have overdid this one. The police box is forty dollars cheaper also 6 disc and new stuff.

I recommend keeping a pen and paper with you to write down the ones you are interested in.

Is the Yardbirds actually coming out? Amazon never sent me mine yet.
Perhaps you asked this question before watching or reading my reply to you yesterday but I think I answered it in this video and the reply.
I tried listening to the yardbirds cd and after 30 minutes I had to turn it off. Not a fan of the live stuff
I’m not sure what you were listening to because I think the BBC recordings are better than the studio albums.
